|a يكشف هذا البحث الأصول التي اعتمدها الطبري في ترجيحاته بين الآراء الواردة في تفسير سورتي الأنفال والتوبة، حيث تتبع الباحث جميع ترجيحات الطبري الواردة في تفسير السورتين ودرسها واستخلص الأصل الذي اعتمد عليه الطبري في الترجيح، وتبين أن أبرز هذه الأصول: السياق، واللغة، والقراءات القرآنية، والحديث النبوي، وعموم النص القرآني وظاهره. وانتهى البحث إلى جملة من النتائج منها: أن جميع ترجيحات الطبري كانت مشفوعة بالحجة والبرهان ولم تكن اعتباطية، لذا كانت في الغالب راجحة.

|b This research uncovers the foundations on which Al-Tabari based his selected outweigh interpretations among the views that are found in interpreting the two surahs: Al-Anfal and Al-Tawbah. The researcher has tracked all interpretations that were outweighed by Al-Tabari in his Tafseer, studied them and extracted the foundations on which Al-Tabari depended in his selection. It was found that the most apparent foundations were: the context, the language, the different quranic recitations, Prophet’s sayings, the generic and the apparent meaning of the Quranic text. The Research concluded that all Al-Tabari outweigh interpretations were supported with evidence and proof and were not arbitrary and that is why they were most likely correct.
