|a إن هذا البحث ينطلق من إشكالية محددة تتمثل في سؤال مركزي، هو: ما هو منهج الإمام عبيد الله المباركفورى في نقد متون السنة؟ وما هي المقاييس التي اعتمد عليها، وهل خالف العلماء في مقاييسه أم وافقهم؟ ومن المعلوم لدى الجميع مدى اهتمام علماء الهند بالسنة النبوية المطهرة، وعبيد الله واحد منهم، فيجب البحث والتنقيب عن مناهجهم العلمية في نقد السنة، هل وافقوا أهل هذه الصنعة أم خالفوهم. ولما كان الأمر في نقد متون السنة محكم ومقيد ولا يعتمد على الأهواء والآراء، كان ولابد أن نبحث في كتب شروح السنة عن هذه القواعد والأصول التي صار عليها علماء هذه الأمة. وقد كان كتاب "مرعاة المفاتيح شرح مشكاة المصابيح" أحد هذه الكتب الشارحة لكتب الحديث، وقد عمد مؤلفه إلى توضيح الأحاديث وشرحها وبيان درجتها، وتمييز صحيحها من سقيمها، مع نقدها سنداً ومتناً. فتعين محور هذا البحث ببيان المقاييس التي اتخذها الإمام المباركفورى في نقد المتون، وبيان عللها.

|b This research starts from a specific problem represented in a central question, which is: What is the approach of Imam Ubayd Allah Al-Mubarakfoury in criticizing the body of the Sunnah? What are the standards on which he relied, and did the scholars disagree with his standards or agree with them? Research and exploration must be done on their scientific methods in criticizing the Sunnah, whether they agreed with the people of this profession or disagreed with them. And since the matter in criticizing the body of the Sunnah is tight and restricted and does not depend on the whims and opinions, it was necessary for us to search in the books of commentary on the Sunnah for these rules and principles that the scholars of this nation have becom. One of these books explaining hadith books was the book "Marat Al Mufahat Sharh Mishkat al-Masabeeh". Its author intended to clarify hadiths, explain them and indicate their degree, and distinguish their saheeh from the poor, while criticizing them in support and in solidarity
