المستخلص: The Francophone Algerian detective novel, whose birth dates back to 1970, is the subject of growing interest from academics for around thirty years with, however, some differences relating to the constitution of its corpus, particularly with regard to the integration of texts by French novelists (whether of Algerian descent or not). In this article, we will try to set precise definitive criteria for this category, as well as to propose, based, among other things, on existing reviews, a corpus of works fulfilling these criteria and covering the period (1970-2019).

Le roman policier algérien francophone, dont la naissance remonte à 1970, fait l’objet depuis une trentaine d’années d’un intérêt croissant de la part des universitaires avec, toutefois, certaines divergences relatives à la constitution de son corpus, particulièrement en ce qui a trait à l’intégration des textes d’auteurs français ou issus de l’immigration algérienne en France. Dans cet article, nous tenterons de poser des critères définitoires précis pour cette catégorie, ainsi que de proposer, en nous basant, entre autres, sur les recensions existantes, un corpus d’œuvres remplissant lesdits critères et couvrant la période (1970-2019).
