المستخلص: ظهر اتجاه ما بعد الحداثة خلال الثمانينات من القرن العشرين في بريطانيا، تحت اسم علم الاجتماع ما بعد الحداثة على يد عدد من السوسيولوجيين والفلاسفة، حاولوا تأويل أعمال كارل ماكس والاستفادة من الثورة المعلوماتية، وبشروا بمجتمع خال من الطبقات والثقافات المهيمنة والتركيز على العلم والتقنية في حل مشكلات الإنسانية. ويعد "فرونسوا ليوتار" فيلسوف ما بعد الحداثة البارز منذ أن قدم كتابه "حالة ما بعد الحداثة - تقرير عن المعرفة - الصادر في 1979، والذي يعتبر مرجعا مهماً في فكر ما بعد الحداثة. حيث تعد أفكاره رفضاً صريحا للنزعة الراديكالية السياسية الماركسية. وعليه ستكون هذه الورقة البحثية محاولة لتسليط الضوء على أهم آراء ليوتار المفسرة لهذه المرحلة المجتمعية الحديثة.

During the 1980s, a sociological trend was developed in Britain under the name of postmodern sociology by a number of sociologists and philosophers, who tried to interpret the works of Karl Marx and take advantage of the information revolution and preached a society devoid of classes and dominant cultures. Francois Lyotard, who is an eminent postmodern philosopher, since he presented his book -The Postmodern Condition: Report on Knowledge - in 1979, a work that represents an important reference in postmodern thought. His ideas are an explicit rejection of radical Marxist politics. And so this document will attempt to highlight Lyotard's most important points of view interpreting this modern societal phase.

Au cours des années 1980, une tendance sociologique s’est développée en Grande-Bretagne sous le nom de sociologie postmoderne par un certain nombre de sociologues et de philosophes, qui ont essayé d’interpréter les oeuvres de Karl Marx et de profiter de la révolution de l’information, et ont prêché une société dépourvue de classes et de cultures dominantes. François Lyotard qui est un éminent philosophe postmoderne, depuis qu’il a présenté en 1979 son livre -La condition postmoderne : Rapport sur le savoir- un ouvrage qui représente une importante référence dans la pensée postmoderne. Ses idées sont un rejet explicite de la politique marxiste radicale. Et c'est ainsi que ce document tentera de mettre en valeur les points de vue les plus importants de Lyotard interprétant cette phase sociétale moderne.
