المستخلص: يهدف البحث الحالي إلى الوقوف على مداخل وأبعاد الأداء المؤسسي للمراكز البحثية بالإضافة إلى أهمية تطوير الأداء المؤسسي لهذه الهيئات، من خلال التركيز على ثلاثة أبعاد وهي البعد الفردي والذي تمثل في تنمية أداء الباحثين، والبعد البيئي من خلال تفعيل المسئولية الاجتماعية، والبعد التنظيمي والذي يركز على الهيكل التنظيمي وبناء ثقافة تنظيمية محفزة للعمل البحثي، كما يسعى البحث نحو رصد أفضل ممارسات الأداء المؤسسي لبعض المراكز البحثية، بالإضافة إلى استكشاف واقع الأداء المؤسسي للمركز القومي للبحوث التربوية والتنمية، وحتى يتم تحقيق هذه الأهداف فقد استخدم البحث منهج دراسة الحالة حيث تم تطبيق البحث على عينة من ٤٦ باحثا من باحثي المركز في جميع الشعب البحثية، بالإضافة إلى أسلوب أفضل الممارسات والذي تناول بعض المراكز البحثية الرائدة في كل من الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية والصين وإسرائيل، وانطلاقا من الدراسة النظرية والميدانية تم التوصل إلى تصور مقترح لتطوير الأداء المؤسسي للمركز القومي للبحوث التربوية والتنمية.

The current research aims to identify the approaches and dimensions of the institutional performance of the research centers, in addition to the importance of developing the institutional performance of these bodies by focusing on three dimensions, namely the individual dimension, which represents the development of the researchers' performance, the environmental dimension through activating the social responsibility and the organizational dimension which focuses on the Organizational structure and build organizational culture stimulating for research work. It also seeks to identify the best practices of the institutional performance of some research centers, in addition to exploring the reality of institutional performance at the National Center for Educational Research and Development. Until these objectives are achieved, in order to achieve these objectives, the research used the case study method. The research was applied to a sample of the researchers of the center, reaching 46 researchers in all the research divisions, In addition to the best practice method, which is handled by some of the leading research centers in the United States of America, China and Israel. Based on the theoretical and field study, it was reached to a proposed perspective for the development of the institutional performance of the National Center for Educational Research and Development.
