المستخلص: One of the most topical issues, and one that is leading to debate, is infrastructure investment. The purpose of this article is to clarify the term infrastructure by highlighting its importance in relation to economic growth, through a literature review of the main theories and studies conducted in this context in the first place, and to analyze the situation of infrastructure in Algeria especially after the public investments made during the oil boom.

Une des problématiques d’actualité, et qui entraine un débat, est l'investissement en infrastructure. L’objet de cet article consiste à clarifier le terme infrastructure en mettant en exergue son importance par rapport à la croissance économique, à travers une revue littéraire des principales théories et études menées dans ce cadre en premier lieu, et d'analyser la situation de l'infrastructure en Algérie surtout après les investissements publics effectués pendant le boom pétrolier.
