|f Silence and speech are two sides of the same coin. So, what role does silence occupy in speech? What is the importance of silence in the analysis of literary texts? Is it considered an important part of the speech or talk that must be analyzed and studied? Can it be considered an integral part of the speech, but rather a part we hope to reach in the study and analysis of the speech? Silence has a founding role in speech as a means of communication that leads to meaning and is also an essential and indispensable element of the sentence. This research mainly focuses on the question, silent expressions, and allusions in the political speech of US President Donald Trump. This study will also focus on what is not said, indirect, or not mentioned in the speech, which has a rhetorical relationship to silence. The nature of the speech is that it gives a clear picture of the speaker that proves that this president is different from others. But we will not be satisfied with silences in the speech only because this president's difference and distinction in terms of personality, talk, and emotional impact made us focus on his political speech and its importance. As for the silence, we have identified three types of pauses: silences of hesitation, highlighting, and punctuation. This study is also concerned with the different functions of the pauses within the same speech of this president and in different situations, on Twitter and after the request for his removal. Studying silences in a particular speech helps to understand it more. So our first hypothesis will be that if Trump is far from using strokes profusely in his speeches, he uses them in order to focus and shed light on a particular thing or idea. In order to arrive at this, we have studied President Trump's speech, his language, body language, and style, which make clear his intentions without any doubt. |d Le silence et la parole sont liés, ils sont inséparables, indispensables, l’un a besoin de l’autre. Quelle place occupe donc le discours? Quelle importance peut-on lui accorder dans l’analyse du discours? Peut-il représenter une "matière signifiante par excellence", et un “aboutissement suprême du langage”? Le silence au cours d’un discours a un rôle en tant qu’élément constitutif de la communication, voire un producteur de sens et un composant essentiel de l’énoncé. Notre travail vise particulièrement les interrogations, les expressions, les usages et les interprétations des silences dans le discours politique du Président Américain Donald Trump. Notre étude visera également le non-dit, l’implicite, ou le refoulé des discours, ce qui est en rapport métaphorique avec le silence. La forme du discours donne une image de l’ethos et constitue une preuve de la singularité de l’élocution propre à Trump. Mais nous n’allons pas nous contenter des pauses silencieuses dans ses discours car la singularité et l’étrangeté de la parole et les problèmes d’ordre émotionnel du président américain nous invitent à y prêter également attention. En ce qui concerne les pauses, nous en avons distingué trois genres: les pauses d’hésitation, de focalisation et de démarcation. Notre étude s’intéresse également aux différentes fonctions de la pause intra discursive chez ce locuteur dans son discours à plusieurs reprises et à ses tweets après prétendue sa destitution. L’étude du rôle de la pause dans un discours permet de comprendre la spécificité de la parole. Notre hypothèse est que si l’emploi des pauses est loin d’être exagéré dans le discours, elles contribuent à la focalisation des parties précises sur lesquelles le locuteur veut mettre l’accent. Pour ce faire, nous estimons l’importance d’évoquer les spécificités de la parole de trump de façon générale, de sa singularité et de son étrangeté en particulier. Ce qui nous amènera à mettre l’accent sur la synergologie qui nous permettra de comprendre et d’analyser son discours.

|a الصمت والكلام وجهان لعملة واحدة. إذا ما الدور الذي يحتله الصمت في الخطاب؟ وما هي أهمية الصمت في تحليل النصوص الأدبية؟ هل يعتبر جزء هام من الخطاب أو الحديث بحيث يجب تناوله بالتحليل والدراسة؟ هل يمكن اعتباره جزء لا يتجزء من الخطاب بل وجزء نتمنى الوصول إليه في الدراسة والتحليل في الخطاب؟ إن للصمت دورا مؤسس في الخطاب كوسيلة للتواصل تؤدي إلى المعني وهي أيضا عنصر أساسي في الجملة لا يمكن الاستغناء عنه. هذا البحث يركز أساسا على الاستفهام والعبارات والإيحاءات الصامتة في الخطاب السياسي للرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب. هذه الدراسة سوف تركز أيضا على ما لا يقال، الغير مباشر، أو الغير مذكور بالخطاب، والذي له علاقة بلاغية بالصمت. طبيعة الخطاب أنه يعطي صورة واضحة عن قائله تبرهن على أن هذا الرئيس مختلف عن غيره. لكننا لن نكتفي بالسكتات في الخطاب فقط وذلك لأن اختلاف هذا الرئيس وتميزه من حيث الشخصية والحديث والتأثير الانفعالي جعلنا نركز على خطابه السياسي وأهميته. بالنسبة للصمت، لقد حددنا ثلاث أنواع من الوقفات: سكتات التردد وإلقاء الضوء والترقيم. هذه الدراسة تهتم أيضا بالوظائف المختلفة للوقفات داخل الخطاب الواحد لهذا الرئيس وفي مواقف مختلفة، على تويتر وبعد طلب عزله. إن دراسة السكتات في خطاب بعينه تساعد على فهمه أكثر. إذا الفرضية الأولي لدينا سوف تكون إذا كان ترامب بعيد عن استخدام السكتات بغزارة في خطاباته، فإنه يستخدمها من أجل التركيز وإلقاء الضوء على شيء بعينه أو فكرة بعينها. من أجل الوصول إلى هذا فقد قمنا بدراسة خطاب الرئيس ترامب، لغته ولغة الجسد فيه وأسلوبه الذين يوضحون مقاصده بدون أدني شك.
