المستخلص: منذ تخطيط أولى المدن، والطراز اليومي للمجتمع معرض للعديد من المخاطر؛ ونتيجة لنوع تخطيط المدينة ومشاكلها الخدمية تعرض الأمن الحضري إلى الخطر، لذلك فان لنمط تخطيط المدينة، ولطبيعة مجتمعها، ونوع الخدمات المقدمة فيها لها الأثر الكبير في توفير الأمن الحضري في جميع أبعاده ومستوياته فالزيادة في أعداد السكان، والتوسعات التي تحدث في المدن بجميع أنواعها، وكثرة التعقيدات فيها على المستويات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية؛ أدى كل ذلك إلى نشوء عدم السيطرة على الأمن في المدينة، لذلك سيتم التطرق للتسلسل التاريخي (كرونولوجي) من أجل تعيين مواطن الضعف في تخطيط المدن منذ النشأة الأولى للتوصل إلى النتائج التي تقود إلى تعيين التخطيط الأمثل للمدن من أجل حفظ آمنها الحضري، أهمية البحث تكمن في تحقيق الأمن الحضري في المدينة عن طريق التخطيط لها بعد دراسة شاملة لمواطن الضعف والقوة، فإن ما سينتج عنه هو تحقيق بيئة حضرية متكاملة تستطيع أن تقدم احتياجات الساكنين بجميع أعمارهم ومكوناتهم المجتمعية، ومن دون أن يكون أحد الساكنين في حاجة أن تغطى احتياجاته أو أن يلجئ لطرائق قد تخل بالأمن الحضري في المدينة من أجل أن تسد حاجته، أو أن يساعد التخطيط الحضري في أن يولد جريمة في أماكن معينة من المدينة أن لم تتم الدراسة الوافية للفضاءات هدف البحث هو تحقيق النتيجة الأمثل في توفير الأمن الحضري للمدن الحالية عن طريق دراسة وعرض التخطيط الذي مرت به المدن عبر المراحل التاريخية المختلفة، أي استخدام منهجية عرض (كرونولوجي) لغاية توفير الأمن والأمان لمجتمع المدينة والارتقاء بالمستوى الخدمي المقدم لمجتمع المدينة الذي ينتج عنه توفير احتياجات أساسية وخدمات مجتمعية عن طريق التخطيط المواكب لمتطلبات العصر الحديث.

Cities have witnessed great changes since the planning of the first cities. This is due to the increase in population and problems in services that affect urban security. As such, urban security is directed and affected by the nature of city planning and the types of services. Besides, the kind of services plays an imminent place in providing urban security at all levels. Other factors that influence urban security can be limited to the increase of population, economic and social changes. This leads to losing urban control. This study will explore the historical chronology to identify weaknesses in urban planning since its dawn and reaching solutions to protect urban security. The importance of the research lies in achieving urban security in the city through planning after making a comprehensive study of the areas to the weakness and strength of the urban area, the result is to achieve an integrated urban environment that can provide the needs of the residents with all their activities and societal components, so the residents will no longer need to cover their needs or to resort to methods that may prejudice urban security in the city to meet their needs, or to help urban planning generate a crime in certain places of the city if the study of the spaces is not thoroughly studied. So the research goal is to provide safe urban spaces through studying the planning and design of current cities and what this city has been through history in the term of safety and security that is provided in its own design and planning, by using the methodology of Chronological sequence through concentrating on the safety in the city through ages and how this security is provided in the city so it can limit the community from criminal activities, what kind of urban safety can be provided to establish the most needed infrastructure and facilities in the city and how it can be moderate to the recent century.
