المستخلص: تميزت مدرسة باريس السيميائية من خلال توجهين: تنظيم المربع السيميائي للبنيات الأولية للدلالة وأولية السردية. وقد تحولت الاهتمامات الحالية إلى سيميائيات العالم المحسوس والممارسات؛ فلم تصبح العلامة أو النص الموضوع الموحد لهذه المدرسة، بل العامل، من حيث فعله وتفاعله مع عاملين آخرين. وقد رافق هذا التحول ترجمات متباينة لمصطلحات هذه المدرسة إلى اللغة العربية. ويرجع السبب في ذلك إلى عدم اتفاق أصحابها على المصطلحات نفسها، إذ تختلف التقنيات والأساليب المعتمدة: فمنهم من يعود إلى التراث، وهناك من يلجأ إلى الاشتقاق، أو الاقتراض، أو ترجمة المفهوم، الخ. وجهودهم في معظمها جهود فردية يعوزها الإجماع والاتفاق. ونسعى من خلال هذا المقال إلى التطرق إلى مسألة ترجمة المصطلحية السيميائية بتحليل بعض المصطلحات من تيارات مختلفة من هذه المدرسة ومقارنة ترجماتها الواردة في القواميس والمعاجم والدراسات النقدية العربية.

Semiotics of the Paris school was characterized by two orientations: the meaning organized by the semiotic square and the priority of narrativity. It then turned to the semiotics of the sensitive world and practices. The sign and the text are no longer the exclusive object of this school, but rather the actant, his act and interaction with other actants. This paper deals with the issue of translating this new semiotic terminology into Arabic context witnessing great chaos. This anarchy is due to the diversity of the methods: using Arabic linguistic heritage, derivation, loan words, translating concepts, etc. Moreover, these efforts are qualified as individual and not coordinated. We have approached here the question of semiotic terminology, by analyzing some terms from different semiotic currents and comparing their different translations through different dictionaries and Arabic critical studies.

L’école sémiotique de Paris s’est caractérisée par deux orientations: la signification organisée par le carré sémiotique et la priorité de la narrativité. Elle s’est ensuite penchée vers la sémiotique du monde sensible et les pratiques. Le signe et le texte ne sont désormais plus l’objet exclusif de cette école, mais c’est plutôt l’actant, son acte et son interaction avec les autres actants. Cet article porte sur la problématique de la traduction de cette nouvelle terminologie sémiotique vers l’arabe témoin d’un grand chaos. Cette anarchie est due à la diversité des méthodes utilisées: le recours au patrimoine linguistique arabe, la dérivation, l’emprunt, la traduction du concept, etc. Par ailleurs, ces efforts sont qualifiés d’individuels et non coordonnés en matière de terminologie. Nous avons abordé ici la question de la terminologie sémiotique, en analysant quelques termes de différents courants sémiotiques et comparant leurs différentes traductions dans les dictionnaires et les études critiques arabes.
