المستخلص: This study aims to analyze the contribution of the knowledge economy to improving the attractiveness of investment in the Arab Gulf countries. The general index, which monitors the attractiveness of investment in the Arab Gulf countries, indicates an improved attractiveness of its investment climate, leading by Arab performance, and in advanced positions globally. Indicators that monitor the performance of the Arab Gulf countries in excellence and technological progress, human development and knowledge are crucial factors for attracting foreign direct investment. In general, it can be said that countries that have succeeded in achieving knowledge take-off and a shift towards a knowledge economy, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar have been able to enhance the growth and strength of their economy and create an appropriate and attractive investment environment by focusing on infrastructure construction. Information technology and communication, investment in human resources and the optimization of knowledge as a key factor in the production process. Statistics monitoring the reality of FDI in the software and IT services sector indicate that it is among the most important sectors attracting FDI in the Arab Gulf countries, especially in the U.A.E, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.
