المستخلص: هذا بحث مختصر عن الفكر المقاصدي عند أهل الحديث ابن عبد البر رحمه الله نموذجاً، بدأت فيه شرح مصطلحات البحث ومفرداته، وترجمت ترجمة مختصرة له رحمة الله، مع التعريف بكتاب التمهيد والاستذكار، وابن عبد البر رحمة الله حذر من التقليد ودعي للاجتهاد المنضبط، واستدرك على أهل العلم بكل أدب وإنصاف، وبينت طرق إثبات المقاصد، وذكرت اتجاهات المدارس في علم المقاصد، وبينت المنهج الوسط فيه مع ذكر معالمه، والدفاع عن أهل الحديث، وأظهرت صلة المقاصد بمصادر الاستدلال، ومن مرامي البحث بيان حفظ المصالح الضرورية والحاجية والتحسينية عنده رحمه الله، ذكرت المصالح الخمسة الدين، والعقل، والنفس، والنسل، والمال، من جهة الوجود والعدم من كلام الحافظ ابن عبد البر رحمه الله، وكذا المصالح العامة والخاصة، والجزئية، وذكرت جملة من القواعد المقاصدية، وذيلت بأسس الفكر المقاصدي وسماته عنده رحمه الله، وختمت بنتائج البحث مع ذكر لتوصيات ومقترحات.

This a brief research about the notion of purposes ''Maqasid'' according to the people of hadith, Ibn Abd-Albarr may Allah have mercy upon him an example, I started by explaining the research's terminologies and terms, and I wrote a short biography of him may Allah have mercy upon him, and prefaced the books: At-Tamheed and Al-Istithkar. Ibn Abd-Albarr warned against blind following and called to disciplined independent reasoning "Ijtihad", and Corrected the mistakes of the scholars in a polite and just manner . I also clearly showed the ways of demonstrating the purposes "Maqasid", and I mentioned the jurisprudence schools trends in the science of purposes "Al-Maqasid", I also clearly showed the moderate methodology regarding this science with mentioning it's features, and defending the people of hadith, and I demonstrated the connection between the purposes "Maqasid" and the sources of inference. One of the aims of this research is to demonstrate the importance of preserving the necessary, needed and improvable overwhelming interests or benefits "Al-Masaalih " in our religion according to Ibn Abd-Albarr may Allah have mercy upon him. I mentioned the five interests : Religion, the mind, life, progeny and wealth from the position of them being present or absent from the words of Ibn Abd-Albarr. I also mentioned the General, private and partial interests, and also mentioned some of the purposes "Al- Maqasid" foundations, I appended to the research the foundations of the notion of purposes "Maqasid" and it's features according to Ibn Abd Al-barr may Allah have mercy upon him. I concluded the research by mentioning the results, recommendations and suggestions.
