|a هدفت هذه الدراسة الكشف عن تأثير مناهج الغمر باللغات الأجنبية على مستوى الكفاءة اللغوية للغة العربية لطلاب المدارس الدولية: ولتحقيق أهداف هذه الدراسة قام الباحث بإعداد مقياس الكفاءة اللغوية الذي تم تطبيقه على مجموعة الدراسة، ثم التحليل الإحصائي وتفسير النتائج وتقديم التوصيات والمقترحات. وقد أظهرت النتائج: انخفاض مستوى الكفاءة اللغوية ككل وكان تأثير مناهج الغمر اللغوي أكبر ما يكون على كفاءة التحدث والأداء الصوتي هو أكثر شكل من أشكال فقدان اللغة لدى طالب المدارس الدولية ويظهر ذلك في الحد من قدرة المتحدث على إنتاجه اللغوي، وفي ضوء ما توصلت إليه الدراسة تم اقتراح التوصيات الأتية: - ضرورة تأخير الدراسة باللغة الأجنبية حتى يتمرس الطفل في لغته الأساسية. - قصر التعليم باللغة الأجنبية على مواد محددة يحتاج إليها الطالب حسب التخصص المطلوب.

|b This study aimed to uncover the effect of immersion curricula in foreign languages on the level of linguistic competence of the Arabic language for international school students: In order to achieve the objectives of this study, the researcher prepared a measure of linguistic competence that was applied to the study group, then statistical analysis and interpretation of the results and making recommendations and suggestions. The results showed: a decrease in the level of language proficiency as a whole, and the effect of language immersion curricula was greatest on the efficiency of speaking and vocal performance. It is the most form of language loss for international school students and this appears in limiting the speaker's ability to produce his language, and in light of the findings of the study. The following recommendations were suggested: The necessity of delaying studies in the foreign language until the child has mastered his primary language. Restricting education in a foreign language to specific subjects needed by the student according to the required specialization
