المستخلص: This research aims to know the reality and obstacles of using teachers of speech therapy to assistive technology and their relationship to some variables in Jeddah governorate. It also aims to know the obstacles according to the research variables, which are: gender, academic qualification, years of experience, workplace, and training courses. Hence, to achieve these goals, the researcher used the descriptive (survey) approach, as the researcher also used the questionnaire as a research tool. Additionally, the research community consisted of all Teachers of Speech Therapy in Jeddah and they are (71) male and female teachers. The research sample consists of (64) male and female teachers. The research found a set of results, the most prominent of which are: A low degree of using the assistive technology by teachers of speech training, with an arithmetic average of (2.00). Moreover, the highest assistive tool used by teachers in speech training was the picture cards, while the least assistive tool used by male and female teachers was the pneumatic air system (PAS) to measure the air flow at an “unused” degree. The impediments degree of using assistive technology by teachers of speech training was high, with an arithmetic average of (3.66). The most prominent obstacle facing the teachers of speech disorders training significantly was: “The lack of budgets in which is allocated to assistive technology for persons with speech and language disorders,” while the least obstacle facing them was: “The use of assistive technology” as it reduces the ability of the teacher to manage the class.

هدف هذا البحث إلى معرفة واقع ومعوقات استخدام معلمي تدريبات النطق للتقنيات المساندة وعلاقتها ببعض المتغيرات بمحافظة جدة، والمعوقات تبعاً لمتغيرات البحث، وهي: الجنس، والمؤهل العلمي، وسنوات الخبرة، ومكان العمل، والدورات التدريبية. ولتحقيق هذه الأهداف استخدم الباحثان المنهج الوصفي (المسحي)، كما استخدم الباحثان استبانة من إعداد الباحثان كأداة رئيسية للبحث. وتكون مجتمع البحث من جميع معلمي تدريبات النطق في مدينة جدة، وعددهم (٧١) معلماً ومعلمة، وتكونت عينة البحث من (٦٤) معلماً ومعلمة. وقد توصل البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج، من أبرزها: أن درجة استخدام معلمي تدريبات النطق للتقنيات المساندة كانت قليلة، بمتوسط حسابي مقدار (٢,٠٠). وقد كانت أعلى أداة مساندة يستخدمها معلمو تدريبات النطق هي بطاقات الصور، بينما كانت أقل أداة مساندة يستخدمها المعلمون والمعلمات هي الجهاز الهوائي التصويتي (PAS)؛ لقياس تدفق الهواء بدرجة "غير مستخدمة". وكانت درجة معوقات استخدام التقنيات المساندة من قبل معلمي تدريبات النطق كبيرة، بمتوسط حسابي مقداره (3.66). وكان أبرز معوق يواجه معلمي تدريبات اضطرابات النطق بدرجة كبيرة جداً: "قلة الميزانيات المخصصة للتقنيات المساندة لذوي اضطرابات النطق واللغة"، فيما كان أقل معوق يواجههم: "استخدام التقنيات المساندة؛ يقلل من قدرة معلم تدريبات النطق على إدارة الحصة".
