المستخلص: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل مواقع العمل الحر العامة (عينة الدراسة) وتقييمها، ومدى مشاركة أمناء المكتبات بها، وتعرف طبيعة المهارات التي يمكنهم تقديمها من خلال هذه المواقع، واعتمدت الدراسة على استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في صورته المسحية لعينة قصدية عمدية من مواقع العمل الحر العامة، والبالغ عددها (6) مواقع، وخرجت الدراسة بالعديد من النتائج من أبرزها: يعد كل من موقع upwork &fiverr من أكثر المواقع (عينة الدراسة) من حيث سهولة الاستخدام، وإجمالي أمناء المكتبات المسجلين بمواقع العمل الحر (عينة الدراسة) هو (588) عاملا حرا، وتعد مهارة إدخال البيانات من أكثر المهارات التي يقدمها أغلب أمناء المكتبة المسجلين بمواقع العمل الحر (عينة الدراسة) بواقع عدد (392) أمين مكتبة بنسبة 66,7% من الإجمالي، وتلى ذلك مهارة البحث على الإنترنت وقواعد البيانات بواقع عدد (219) أمين مكتبة بنسبة 37,24% من الإجمالي.

This study aims to analyze and evaluate the general freelancer websites (sample study), and the extent of participation of librarian in it, and to identify the nature of jobs they can provide through these websites, the study used the descriptive analytical approach in its survey image to a purposive sample of general freelancer websites ,there total number was six websites, and the study came out with many results ,the most important was: Upwork & fiverr websites are considered the easiest websites in terms of ease of use, the total number of librarian registered in freelancer websites (sample study) are 588 librarians, the upwork website is considered the top in number of librarians registered in it within 247 librarian representing 42% of librarians sample study, The data entry skill is the most registered skill by librarian in freelancer websites (sample study) provided by (392) librarians, representing 66.7% of the total sample study, followed by searching on the internet & databases skills, provided by (219) librarians, representing 37.24% of the total librarians sample study, and all freelancer websites (sample study) have got pages or account with social networks as facebook ,twitter and Linkedin network, and they also provide more than one method for research, such as searching by skills (jobs) provided by the site, or by the freelancer personal files, and they also provided an advanced search method, and all the freelancer websites (sample study) used various technical methods toe achieve security for the sale and purchase process done through them, the up work website is considered the site with most registered librarians in it within (247) librarian representing 42% of the total freelancer websites (sample study) followed by Guru website with (235) librarian, " representing 40% of the total sample, and it is also noted that the percentage of females registered in freelancer websites (sample study) is higher than that of males with (382) personal files for females, representing 64.7% of the total (588) personal files of librarians registered in the freelancer websites (sample study), and finally the study came up with some recommendations, the most prominent of it is: there is a great need for librarians and graduates of library and information departments to register their data in the Arab and foreign freelancer websites, as mean to increase income and presence in the digital world, the study also recommended to hold seminars and workshops to raise awareness of the importance of freelancer websites for librarians as a mean to increase income, and it also referred to the importance of including freelancer websites in the courses of library and information science departments to familiarize students with them, and as a mean to find job opportunities for them in the future, and the study also emphasized the importance of good command of the English language by librarians; because it is the language usually used by foreign freelancer websites.
