المستخلص: The neologism Islamophobia took a lot of discussion and popularization among academics and in the media in recent years mainly due to the attacks of September 11 in New York and Washington and 11 March in Madrid. Many spoke of this phenomenon as an act of rejecting the other or find another way to attack Islam and create a new negative image of him. However, we must remember that before the attacks of September 11 was a hostility to Muslims in general and Islam in particular. Since the advent of Islam in that tribe of Quraish; many of its members rejected the idea of Islam and changed his vision to the prophet Muhammad (BP). Before he was named as the honest and decent, and then with the dissemination of the message of Allah, he cataloged a liar and deceiver. This leads us to say that Islamophobia appeared with Islam itself. And it is not simply to reject the other but to reject the religion itself is.

El neologismo Islamofobia tomó una gran parte de discusión y popularización entre los académicos y en los medios de comunicación en los últimos años principalmente a raíz de los atentados del 11 de septiembre en Nueva York y Washington y del 11 de marzo en Madrid. Muchos hablaron de este fenómeno como un acto de rechazar al otro o de buscar otra vía para embestir al Islam y crear una nueva imagen negativa de él. Sin embargo, tenemos que recordar que antes de los atentados del 11 de septiembre había una hostilidad al musulmán en general y al Islam en particular. Desde la aparición del Islam en aquella tribu de Quraich; muchos de sus integrantes rechazaron la idea del islam y cambiaron su visión hacia el profeta Muhammad (BP)*. Antes le denominaron como el honesto y el decente, y luego con la divulgación del mensaje de Alá, le catalogaron de mentiroso y embustero. Esto nos lleva a decir que la islamofobia apareció junto con el islam mismo. Y no se trata simplemente de rechazar al otro sino de rechazar la religión misma.
