المستخلص: Cette étude vise à clarifier certains aspects relatifs au «terme» ses caractéristiques, et ses fonctions d’une part est a examiner le coté pratique de l’emploie du terme dans le domaine de la critique tout en insistant sur les difficultés et les lacunes nées de cette pratique, pour aboutir en fin à certains propositions qui s’avèrent nécessaires et qui puissent contribuer à une meilleur pratique ou du moins attirer l’attention sur certains inconvenants.

This study aims to clarify certain aspects relating to the "term" its characteristics, and its functions, on the one hand, to examine the practical side of the use of the term in the field of criticism while insisting on the difficulties and the shortcomings resulting from this practice, in order to end up with certain proposals which prove to be necessary and which may contribute to better practice or at least draw attention to certain disadvantages.
