المستخلص: ‏ تعتبر الأغنية الشعبية الثورية مظهرا من مظاهر الثورة، متجسدة في ‏كلمات وألحان متشبعة بالروح الوطنية، وهي ذات إبداع فني جميل، لا يخلو ‏من العاطفة الصادقة، والأحاسيس المرهفة، كما تعد وثيقة تأريخ تحمل في ‏طياتها بطولات عظيمة وجرائم شنيعة شهد لها كل منصف على سطح ‏المعمورة. وتجدر الإشارة إلى ما تبعثه هذه الأغاني الشعبية الثورية من حماسة ‏في نفوس الثوار، ولاسيما في ترسيخ الهوية الوطنية ذات البعد الروحي ‏الإسلامي العميق، واللغة العربية المتأصلة، إلى جانب كل ما يرمز إلى الروح ‏الوطنية كالتمسك بالأرض، والسعي لأجل رفع العلم الوطني باعتباره رمزا ‏للسيادة الوطنية، فلم تدخر السياسة الاستعمارية أي جهد من أجل طمس ‏كل ما يتعلق بالهوية الوطنية، بشتى الطرق وبالوسائل المختلفة، وزرع الفرقة ‏بين الإخوة في الله والوطن. ‏ لذا فقد أسهم مبدعو الأغنية الشعبية في الدفاع عن القضية الجزائرية، ‏معبرين عن مواقفهم السياسية، ناقلين واقع المجتمع الجزائري إبان الحقبة ‏الاستعمارية، والتعبير عن كل ما يختلج في أنفسهم من مشاعر الألم والقهر، ‏ومناداة بالحرية والانتصار حفاظا على الهوية الوطنية. ‏

The revolutionary folk song is regarded as one of several manifestations of the revolution, embodied in the lyrics and melodies which are saturated with the national spirit. It is characterized with a beautiful artistic creativity, one that is not devoid of genuine emotions and refined feelings. It serves as a historical document that records great deeds and heinous crimes witnessed by humanity all over the world. It is important to point to the enthusiasm these revolutionary folk songs instilled in the souls of the revolutionaries, particularly in the consolidation of both the national identity with its spiritual and Islamic dimensions and the original Arabic language. These songs also dealt with everything that symbolizes patriotism such as the preservation of the national territory and the desire to elevate the national flag as a symbol of national sovereignty in response to the colonial policy which spared no effort to blur everything related to the national identity in various ways and by various means to sow discord among brothers in God and the homeland. Accordingly, the authors of the revolutionary folk song have contributed in defending the Algerian cause, expressing their political positions and revealing the reality of the Algerian society during the colonial era. They depicted their inner thoughts and feelings of pain and oppression, and called for the victory and the triumph of freedom in order to preserve the national identity.
