Mondir was born in 273h/886 A.D. in Fahs-el-Ballout- near Cordoba- where many Berber people were living. He was a great Andaloussian personality in many sides. He was a scholar in Fikh, dogma (Akida) and monotheism (Belief in the unity of God ), linguistics literature and grammar as well. In addition to that he was an orator and a poet. He had many books as ""El-Ahkem book"" that explains the holy Coran and its rules and principles. And ""El Nassikh wa el mansoukh book"" and also ""El Ibana of original facts of religion"". This later is related to monotheism and Akida. He became a famous man for Al-Andalous people after he had made his famous speech with the presence of Abd-al-Rahman III (El- Nasser) in the ceremony of the coming messenger of Costantine VII ""Porphyrogenitus"" (348-334H/945- 959A.D), the chief (holder) of Costantinoble. When Abd-al Rahman III sat in his throne to meet the delegations in Cordoba palace on Saturday the eleventh of Rabie el Awel 338h. So El- Nasser put him in charge of prayer and oratory in Alzahara mosque. He inclined to Daoud El Dahery doctrine, but when he was working as a judge, he was following the doctrine of the state that was Malek ben Anes doctrine, he was also famous by his modesty and abstinence. He was asking people to be abstinent in life. In addition, he had many poems about death and self- accounting. To sum up, Mondir ben Said El-Ballouti was among great personalities that respected science as a result, science respected them. He didn't neglect his prayer in Cortoba Mosque. And when he held the position of a judge, he never oppresed or mis judged people at that time during the 16 years of working. He left a big luggage after his publications and work that were mentionned by islamic sources. Besides all that, he was characterized by a perfect character, honesty and loyalty as well. Until he became an ideal and a great symbol to other people. He passed away in 355H/966 A.D at the age of 82 years and seven months."
