المستخلص: موضوع هذه الدراسة هو: "اللغة العربية في السنغال أوضاعها الواقعية وآفاقها المستقبلية" وتناول الباحث فيه نبذة عن السنغال، ثم أصالة اللغة العربية في السنغال أسباب دخولها فيه، مبيناً مقوماتها الذاتية التي ساعدتها على البقاء والحياة، ثم تحدث عن وضعها في المجالس التعليمية قديما وحديثا، مع الإشارة إلى المراكز التعليمية والحديثة في السنغال ودورها في تطوير اللغة العربية، وكذلك وضح الباحث واقعها في السنغال من خلال مدارس تحفيظ القرآن الحديثة، والكليات الجامعية الأهلية التي تمنح تخصصات في مجال العربية وآدابها، والدراسات الإسلامية، بجانب دور الحكومات السنغالية المتعاقبة في تعليم اللغة العربية، سواء، في المراحل الأساسية والثانوية، أم الجامعية، ولم يقتصر دورها فيما ذكر بل، أصبحت أداة للتأليف، ووسيلة للصحافة، ثم بنى آفاق اللغة العربية المستقبلية في السنغال بناء على إرهاصاتها المرتقبة، ثم اختتم البحث بخاتمة تشمل نتائج البحث وتوصياتها.

This study entitled: «The Arabic language in Senegal: current situations and future perspectives», deals upstream, an overview of the Arabic language in Senegal. It addresses its originality and the causes that led to its entry, and also clarifies the fundamental instruments that have contributed to its rooting and vivification. In other words, the researcher exhibited in his work, the situation of the Arabic language in the Koranic schools of yesteryear and today, indicating the role of modern educational centers in its development. He illustrated the current state of this language through the modern schools of memorization of the Holy Quran, as well as the faculties of public and private universities containing specialties linguistic, literary and Islamic studies. Moreover, he evoked the monumental role that the Senegalese authorities have played successively in the teaching of that language, whether in basic, secondary or even university cycles. The researcher also illustrated the perspectives that this language can face in Senegal based on possible indications. Ultimately, it provided results that demonstrate that the advancement and rehabilitation of the Arabic language in Senegal have been created thanks to the flourishing of Arab private schools, Arab public institutes, public universities, high schools, colleges and primary schools. There were 8 universities, in addition to the faculties they contain. The study also asserted that intellectuals played a considerable role in the development of the Arabic language through some main activities such as writing books and the press…etc. A handful of recommendations were given downstream to serve as a scientific watering.
