المستخلص: Language can be described as a tool in which every individual is used to communicate or pass verbal information to one another. In human society, there are different languages which are used as a means of communication across the globe. Thus, it is applied for different purposes in different sectors of life. Language is peculiarly used in social gathering, educational institutions, government sector, and the market place and even in political campaigns. Therefore, regarding English language, it has become very obvious that it is becoming a global language; in fact, it has been considered an international language which is used as a medium of communication anywhere in the world. Hence there is a high growth of English speakers in the world and the large number of countries has made English a compulsory subject in their academic curricula. Also, we have a reasonable number of common errors in English speaking - this has really created some level of irregularity in establishing a Standard English. For this reason, this study examines the common errors that are always made among the university students.
