This essay uses per formative ethnography to explore a Middle Eastern hookah lounge through Feminist Arabness. Through intersectional it, the author brings forth various experiences through both Arab and White masculinity. The Hookah Lounge represents a blending of these contradicting struggles. It represents Middle Eastern patriarchy in the midst of hegemonic whiteness. Thus, the author describes this cultural milieu in order to demonstrate the cultural aspects that prelude to this struggle. It is also a call towards intersectional dualism as a site of Middle Eastern patriarchy in the midst of hegemonic whiteness.
