المستخلص: هدف البحث إلى التنبؤ بدافعية الإتقان من خلال العوامل الستة الكبرى للشخصية لدى معلمي ومعلمات الإعاقة الفكرية بإدارة تعليم جازان، وطبق مقياسي العوامل الستة الكبرى للشخصية ودافعية الإتقان (إعداد الباحثين)، على عينة البحث والتي تكونت من (162) معلم ومعلمة الإعاقة الفكرية من جميع مدارس مكاتب التعليم التابعة لإدارة تعليم منطقة جازان، وتم استخدام معامل ارتباط بيرسون، وتحليل الانحدار البسيط والمتعدد، وتوصلت النتائج إلى: وجود علاقات ارتباطية موجبة ودالة إحصائيا بين العوامل الست الكبرى للشخصية ودافعية الإتقان، وأنه يمكن التنبؤ بدافعية الإتقان من خلال درجات أبعاد العوامل الستة الكبرى للشخصية الأربعة والمتمثلة في الصدق (التواضع)، والانفعالية، والانبساطية، ويقظة الضمير، كما يمكن التنبؤ بالدرجة الكلية لدافعية الإتقان من الدرجة الكلية للعوامل الستة الكبرى للشخصية، كما أنه يمكن التنبؤ بدرجة كل بعد من أبعاد دافعية الإتقان من درجات العوامل الستة الكبرى للشخصية حيث أن البعد الأول الرغبة في التميز عن الآخرين تنبأ به من ثلاثة عوامل والمتمثلة في الصدق/ التواضع، والانفعالية، والانبساطية، والبعد الثاني المثابرة والجدية في الأداء تنبأ به من عاملين هما في الصدق/ التواضع، والانبساطية، والبعد الثالث الرغبة في المعرفة بالاطلاع تنبأ به من ثلاثة عوامل والمتمثلة في الصدق/ التواضع، والانفعالية، والانفتاح على الخبرة، والبعد الرابع الأداء الذاتي المتفرد عن الآخرين تنبأ به من عاملين هما في الصدق/ التواضع، والانبساطية، والبعد الخامس متعة الإتقان تنبأ به من أربعة عوامل والمتمثلة في الصدق/ التواضع، والانفعالية، والانبساطية، ويقظة الضمير.

The aim of the research is to identify the six major personality factors as indicators of mastery motive among male and female teachers of intellectual disability in the Jazan Education Department. The two scales of the six major factors of personality and mastery motivation were applied (prepared by researchers). On the research sample, which consisted of (162) teachers of intellectual disability from all schools of the education offices of the Jazan Education Department, Pearson correlation coefficient, simple and multiple regression analysis were used, and the results reached: There are positive and statistically significant correlations between the six major factors of personality and mastery motivation. And that the motivation for perfection can be predicted through the degrees of the six major dimensions of the four personality factors, which are honesty (humility), emotionality, extroversion, and conscientiousness, The total degree of mastery motivation can also be predicted from the total score of the six major personality factors, It is also possible to predict the degree of each of the dimensions of mastery motivation from the degrees of the six major factors of personality Since the first dimension is the desire to be distinguished from others, we predict it from three factors, which are honesty/humility, emotionality, and extroversion, The second dimension is perseverance and seriousness in performance that we predicted from two factors, which is honesty/humility, and extroversion. The third dimension is the desire to know and be informed by three factors: honesty/humility, emotionality, and openness to experience. The fourth dimension is self-performance that is unique from others, which we predicted from two factors, which are honesty/humility, and extroversion. The fifth dimension is the pleasure of mastery, which we predicted from four factors, which are honesty/humility, emotionality, extroversion, and vigilance of conscience
