المستخلص: "بالإضافة إلى القيم الوظيفية والجمالية المكملة للتصميم الداخلي لابد من توافر مصادر وأنماط إضاءة جيدة ومريحة تتناسب مع المساحة والفراغ المعماري وتتكامل مع العمارة السائدة والانسجام معها وتشكيل المباني الهندسية ككتلة معمارية تؤثر على نفاذية وإدراك الضوء في الفراغ الداخلي، وقد أكدت هذه الأنماط تماسكها مع الكتلة المعمارية لإيجاد الإيقاع والانسجام بين الداخل والخارج، ""فإيجاد الفراغ الداخلي هو الغرض الأول والأخير من البناء، فيبدأ كل مبنى بالتصميم أولا، وينتهي بتخصيص مساحة في الفراغ، وهو بالطبع سبب وجود هذا المبنى. تعد الإضاءة عنصرا هاما للقيام بأنشطة الحياة داخل المساحات المعمارية فيعتمد كل نشاط في الحياة على مستوى الإضاءة في الفراغ. ويختلف هذا المستوى وفقا للأنشطة والمساحة الداخلية. إن السعي وراء مساحات الإضاءة بطريقة تتوافق مع الأبعاد الوظيفية والجمالية في التصميم الإسلامي الداخلي هو أحد المواضيع الجديرة بالبحث والدراسة، حيث من الممكن إنشاء أنماط للإضاءة في التصميم الداخلي الحديث باتباع مبادئ الإضاءة المستخدمة في العمارة الإسلامية، حيث أن أنماط الإضاءة الطبيعية والصناعية لها أهداف وظيفية وجمالية. وأدوات الإضاءة قديمة قدم نشوء الحضارات الإنسانية. فقد احتاج البدائيون للإضاءة لشق الظلام، وقد ازدهرت صناعة أدوات الإضاءة في مصر الإسلامية وتطورت طبقا للتطور العام للتقنيات الموجودة من ناحية، وتطور المنشآت والأغراض المستخدمة فيها هذه الأدوات من ناحية أخرى. ويحفل الدليل الأثري كما تحفل المصادر التاريخية بالعديد من البيانات عن تطور هذه الأدوات. تكمن أهمية هذا البحث في دراسة تأثير أنماط الإضاءة التقليدية المستخدمة في العمارة الإسلامية على إضاءة المساحات الداخلية، وكيفية التأثير على تكوين وهيكل المساحات الحديثة والمعاصرة من خلال دراسة تأثير هذه الأنماط في التحكم في كمية وكفاءة الإضاءة الطبيعية والصناعية في الفراغ من خلال دراسة تحليلية لأحد هذه الأنماط."

Lighting is an important component of carrying out life activities within architectural spaces, so each activity in life depends on the level of lighting in a vacuum. This level varies according to activities and the interior space. The pursuit of lighting spaces in a manner consistent with the functional and aesthetic dimensions of Islamic interior design is one of the topics worthy of research and study, where it is possible to create lighting patterns in modern interior design by following the principles of lighting used in Islamic architecture, as natural and industrial lighting patterns have functional and aesthetic goals. Lighting tools are as old as the emergence of human civilizations. The primitives needed lighting for the darkness, and the lighting tools industry flourished in Islamic Egypt and developed according to the general development of existing technologies on the one hand, and the development of installations and purposes. These tools are used on the other hand. The archaeological evidence is full of historical sources, as well as many data on the development of these tools. The importance of this research lies in studying the effect of traditional lighting patterns used in Islamic architecture on lighting for interior spaces, and how to influence the composition and structure of modern and contemporary spaces by studying the impact of these patterns in controlling the amount and efficiency of natural and industrial lighting in a vacuum through an analytical study of one of these Styles."
