Water is the most prominent component of the natural environment, and it is the main factor in existence. Since ancient times, water bodies have been an effective attraction for man, as he lived on its banks and was keen to build near it. The banks of the seas and rivers. Also, the ranges overlooking the water bodies are considered one of the most important areas in which the elements of development are available due to their material, economic and environmental capabilities, as well as spiritual, symbolic and aesthetic values that can be exploited and directed in order to serve the community and achieve well-being. Perhaps This justifies the high economic value of the areas overlooking the natural or industrial water bodies, as it is a major attraction for real estate investments in the current era. Also, cities and countries from all over the world are racing to exploit and develop them urbanly. With that, water facades can be considered a major element of the extension of urbanization for any city overlooking a body of water. This research deals with the study of one of the most distinguished areas in the cities of the modern era, which are the areas adjacent to and associated with the element of water, whether it is a natural or an industrial element. Although Egypt enjoys a variety of patterns in these regions, the basics of development suffer from some shortcomings, which led to a variation in the level of their exploitation, both urban and architectural, due to the lack of an integrated methodology that controls this at the local level Therefore, this research deals with the forms of water elements that can exist and overlap. With architecture and interior design, the research also deals with the environmental, material aesthetic and psychological characteristics that the water element can achieve by its presence in its overlap with architecture. The research also deals with forms of overlap between architecture and the water element and the extent of compatibility or dissonance that can be achieved between architecture and design. The interior and the water element to achieve the utopian concept of design. Furthermore, utopia creates an imagined world filled with endless hopes and visions. As well as allowing the concept of impossibilities. New extremes can be reached when water meets architecture, in other words, it is known as “liquid architecture,” as it becomes an essential material in creating a staple of our imagination Moreover, it fundamentally has a stronger relationship with architectural design strategies, as it allows the adaptation of a more flexible framework to the image and broadens our scope from the aesthetic side. The research is divided into two main parts, the first part is the theoretical study, which explains the relationship between architecture and the water element and the impact of its presence. The second part deals with an analytical study of some models to show and prove the ob jectives of the theoretical study. Therefore, this research aims to explore the different concepts in the use of water features in contemporary architecture, which contribute to expressing one's visions to achieve utopia.the forms of water elements that can exist and overlap.
