|a يقدم هذا البحث تحليلا جغرافيا - أثريا (جيوأركيولوجيا) للموانئ الواقعة علي الساحل الغربي للبحر الأحمر والعلاقات التاريخية، من خلال الإشارة إلي البعد التاريخي للموانئ الثلاثة مرسى جواسيس (فيلوتيراس)، مرسي مبارك (نيخسيا)، القصير القديم (ميوس هورموس). ويعرض البحث لرحلات ومسارات التجارة آنذاك، ويشير إلى أشهر الموانئ التجارية الواقعة على سواحل شرق أفريقيا وجنوب شبه الجزيرة العربية وسواحل الهند. وقد عرج البحث على الآراء المختلفة عن رحلات بلاد بونت وتاريخها وتحديد موقعها. وقد دعم البحث الحالي محتوياته بعدد من الخرائط التوضيحية.

|b This research deals with a set of main points that are concerned with the geoarchaeological analysis of the historical harbour located on the western coast of the Red Sea and its historical commercial Interrelationships. Through pointing to the historical dimension of the three ports of Marsa Gawasis (Philoteras), Marsa Mubarak (Nehesia), Quseir Al Qadim (Moys Hormos). This research sheds light on Trade trips and itineraries. It refers to the most famous trade harbour located on the coasts of East Africa, southern Arabia and the western coasts of India. The research also discusses the various interpretions concerning routes of travelling to Punt, its history and location. The information and analysis in this research are supported with some maps.
