|a يتناول هذا البحث شعر السخرية عند أبي الشمقمق، ويدرسه من خلال تمهيد ومبحثين. ويبين التمهيد مفهوم السخرية لغة واصطلاحا، ثم يتحدث عن حياة أبي الشمقمق وأثرها في اتجاهه نحو السخرية، ويأتي بعد ذلك المبحث الأول الذي يتناول اتجاهات السخرية في شعر أبي الشمقمق والتي تسير في اتجاهين: أولهما-السخرية من الذات، وثانيهما-السخرية من الآخر، وقد تنوعت صور السخرية من الآخر، إذ نجد أبا الشمقمق يسخر من الولاة وكبار رجال الدولة ويسخر من زملائه الشعراء، كما يسخر من الثقلاء والبخلاء. ثم يأتي المبحث الثاني الذي يتناول الخصائص الفنية لشعر السخرية عند أبي الشمقمق، من خلال دراسة المعجم الشعري، والصورة الشعرية، والإيقاع الشعري. ثم يختتم البحث بخاتمة، تشتمل على أهم وأبرز النتائج التي توصل إليها البحث.

|b This research deals with the poetry of irony by Abu Al- Shamaqamq, and studies it through an introduction and two parts. The introduction shows the concept of irony in language and usage. The research then talks about the life of Abu Al-Shammaq and its impact on his attitude towards irony. The first part deals with the attitudes of irony in Abu Al-Shammaq’s poetry, which goes in two directions: the first - mocking the self, and the second - mocking the other. The forms of mocking the other varied, as we find Abu Al-Shammaq mocking the governors and senior statesmen as well as his fellow poets, the wretched and stingy. Then second part deals with the technical characteristics of Abu al-Shammaq’s poetry of irony, through the study of the poetic lexicon, the poetic image, and the poetic rhythm. The ends with a conclusion, which includes the most important findings of the research.
