520 |a إن تحديد المصطلحات العلمية قضية مهمة في الأوساط العلمية عند المحدثين، وتعد المصطلحات الحديثية التي تداولها أعلام المحدثين في أقوالهم ومصنفاتهم من أبرز القواعد في هذا الفن، ولذلك وجب العناية بها لفهم مرادهم منها، ومقاصدهم من استخدامها، والوقوف على اصطلاحات كل إمام من أئمة الحديث مطلب علمي رفيع نادى به وأعلن الحاجة إليه النقاد العارفين بعلم الجرح والتعديل. ومن هؤلاء الأئمة الإمام أبي عيسى الترمذي فأردت أن أبحث مصطلح "المجهول" عنده، وجاء هذا البحث ليكشف النقاب عن مصطلح "أوصاف الجهالة عند الإمام الترمذي في جامعة دراسة نقدية" ومعرفة مراد الإمام الترمذي من العبارات والألفاظ التي استخدمها في وصف الرواة بالجهالة، تتوقف على دراسة تلك العبارات والألفاظ، لمعرفة مدلولها، وهل بينها وفاق وتشابه؟، أو أن بينها تباينا واختلافا؟، وهل توسع الإمام الترمذي في استخدامه لتلك المصطلحات؟، أم إن استعماله لها كان دقيقا محددا؟، فلا تشترك عبارة مع أخرى، ولا يشتبه لفظ بآخر في الاستعمال، ولا يتوصل إلى هذا إلا إذا عقدنا مقارنة لأقوال الإمام الترمذي في الراوي بأقوال النقاد الأخرين. وعليه فلابد من حصر العبارات، والألفاظ التي استعملها الترمذي في التعبير عن (المجهول)، وحصر الرواة الذين أطلقت عليهم تلك العبارات والألفاظ، ومن ثم تقسيم المصطلحات إلى مجموعات. حسب قربها أو بعدها -فيما يظهر لنا- لنخلص بعد ذلك إلى دراسة تراجم الرواة الذين قيلت فيهم كل عبارة، أو لفظة، وموازنة ما ورد فيها عند النقاد مع قول الترمذي للوصول إلى مرادنا من هذا البحث، وأحيانا أقف على علل أخرى غير ما ذكر الإمام الترمذي في إسناده الموصوف بالجهالة أذكرها، وخرجت الأحاديث، وجمعت طرقها، وذكرت درجتها حسب القواعد الحديثية.

And did Imam Tirmidhi expand his use of those terms? Or was his use of it accurate?, Does not share the phrase with another, and does not suspect another word in use, and does not reach this unless we compare the sayings of Imam Tirmidhi in the narrator sayings Other critics. Therefore, it is necessary to limit the phrases, and the words used by Tirmidhi in the expression of the (unknown), and to limit the narrators who called them such phrases and words, and then divide the terms into groups. According to its proximity or after - what appears to us to conclude then to study the translations of the narrators who were said in them every phrase, or word, and balance what was mentioned in the critics with the saying of Tirmidhi to reach what we want from this research,. And sometimes I stand on other ills other than what Imam Tirmidhi mentioned in his support described ignorance I remember, and came out Hadiths, and collected ways, and mentioned the degree according to the rules of Hadith.
