المستخلص: "تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على واقع مكتبات الكليات بجامعة الأزهر والتي حصلت بالفعل على الاعتماد الأكاديمي من الهيئة القومية لضمان جودة التعليم والاعتماد، ودراسة معايير الهيئة القومية لضمان جودة التعليم والاعتماد وبيان أوجه القصور بها، ومن ثم الوصول إلى حكم بشأن صلاحيتها للتطبيق على المكتبات الجامعية في جامعة الأزهر، وتحديد أوجه القصور في تحقيق معايير الهيئة القومية لضمان جودة التعليم والاعتماد لكي تتمكن مكتبات جامعة الأزهر من تحقيقه لتتوافق مع معايير الجودة، وتحديد النسب اللازمة لاستيفاء المعايير والمؤشرات التي بها قصور حتى تستطيع جامعة الأزهر استيفاءها كي تتمكن من الحصول على الجودة. ولقد اتبعت الدراسة المنهج المسحي الميداني في دراستها على مكتبات جامعة الأزهر بالقاهرة عن طريق عمل دراسة على معيار جودة المكتبات الأكاديمية للهيئة القومية لضمان جودة التعليم والاعتماد وتطبيقها على مكتبات جامعة الأزهر بالقاهرة من أجل الوصول إلى نتائج تساعد في معرفة هل تصلح للتطبيق في مشروع الجودة لمكتبات الكليات بجامعة الأزهر، واعتمدت الدراسة على قائمة مراجعة تضم معايير الهيئة القومية لضمان جودة التعليم والاعتماد للمكتبات الأكاديمية، والمقابلة المقننة مع مديري مكتبات كليات جامعة الأزهر بالقاهرة ومسؤولي إدارات الجودة. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن المعايير التي تصدر عن الهيئة القومية لضمان جودة التعليم والاعتماد غير كافية وغير وافية للحكم على مكتبات جامعة الأزهر وتحقيق الحد الأدنى منها للحصول على معيار الجودة، فهناك معايير أكثر تفصيلا مثل المعايير المطبقة في بعض الجامعات العربية، مما يؤهلها للحصول على المعايير الدولية بسهولة ويسر."

"This study aims to identify the reality of college libraries at Al-Azhar University, which have already obtained academic accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education and Accreditation, and to study the standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education and Accreditation and to indicate their shortcomings, and then reach a judgment regarding their validity for application to university libraries in Al-Azhar University, identifying deficiencies in achieving the standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education and Accreditation so that Al-Azhar University libraries can achieve it to comply with quality standards, and determining the percentages necessary to meet the standards and indicators that have deficiencies so that Al-Azhar University can meet them in order to be able to obtain quality. The study followed the field survey approach in its study of the libraries of Al-Azhar University in Cairo by conducting a study on the quality standard of academic libraries of the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education and Accreditation and its application to the libraries of Al-Azhar University in Cairo in order to reach results that help in knowing whether they are suitable for application in the quality project for college libraries in At Al-Azhar University. The study relied on a checklist that includes the standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education and Accreditation of Academic Libraries and a structured interview with directors of faculties of Al-Azhar University’s libraries in Cairo and officials of quality departments. The study concluded that the standards issued by the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education and Accreditation are insufficient to judge Al-Azhar University libraries and achieve the minimum level to obtain the quality standard. More detailed standards, such as those applied in some Arab universities, qualify them to obtain international standards easily. This abstract was translated by AlMandumah Inc."
