|a تلعب الزلاقات الهوائية أو ما يمكن أن نسميها أيضا بالوسائد الهوائية دورا مهما في العصر الحديث في نقل البضائع والأشخاص على حد سواء، وأخذت بالانتشار بشكل كبير في كثير من الدول المتقدمة لما تلعبه من دور مهم في اختصار الزمن ولتحقيق الأغراض التي تم صنعها من أجلها، إلا أنه ثار خلاف كبير في التشريعات على الصعيد الوطني والدولي حول المركز القانوني لها، هل يمكن عدها من قبيل السفن وتخضع لأحكام القوانين البحرية، أم تعد من قبيل الطائرات؛ وبالتالي لابد من إعمال القانون الجوي أم هي ذو طبيعة خاصة مستقلة لها مزاياها التي تميزها عن غيرها وقوانينها الخاصة.
