|b The current study included volatile oil extraction from the Ocimum basilicum isolate and purify the diagnosis composite Aleugenol, Using some chemical spectral techniques such as ThineLayare Chromatography(TLC),Infra-Red spectrum (IR) and Gas Chromatography Mass (GC\Mass)evaluated the antibacterial activity against six bacterial species E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Proteus vulegaris, Klebsella pneumonia , Salmonella typhimurium , Psedomonas aeruginosa,which showed the antibacterial activity of the against bacterial high and inhibion of different diameters ranged between (8.0-29.5 mm).The current study also included identifying Minimum Inhibition Concentration(MIC) to Eugenolcompound, Where was less minimum inhibitory concentration is (1.5μg\ml) against S. aureus, While the highest Minimum Inhibition Concentration(MIC) is (6.5 μg\ml) towards both bacterial species. E. coli, P.aeurginosa, P.vulgaris. It also tested the cellular toxicity of the compound, Which did not show any toxic at the concentrations tested.

|a تضمنت الدراسة الحالية استخلاص الزيت الطيار من نبات الريحان Ocimum basilicum l. وعزل وتنقية وتشخيص مركب اليوجينول Eugenol منه باستخدام بعض التقنيات الكيمائية الطيفية مثل كروماتوغرافيا الطبقة الرقيقة Thine Layare Chromatography وعمود الفصل Colum chromatography وطيف الأشعة تحت الحمراء (IR) وطيف الكتلة GC\Mass، نقيت خلال الدراسة خمسة مواد كيميائية حددت الفعالية الضد بكتيرية لهده المواد تجاه ستة أنواع من البكتيريا المرضية هي E.coli، E. coli, staphylococcus aureus, proteus vulegaris, Klebsella pneumonia,Salmonella typhimurium, Psedomonas aeruginosa والتي أظهرت فعالية تثبيطيه ضد بكتيرية عالية وبأقطار تثبيط مختلفة تراوحت بين 27.0-8.0 ملم. كما تضمنت الدراسة الحالية تحديد التركيز الثبط الأدنى MIC لمركب Eugenol حيث كان اقل تركيز مثبط هو 1.5 مايكرو غرام/ مل تجاه البكتريا S.aureus بينما كان اعلى تركيز مثبط أدني هو 6.5 مايكرو غرام/ مل تجاه كل من الأنواع البكتيرية P.vulegaris, E.coli، P.aeruginosa. كما اختبرت السمية الخلوية للمركب المعزول والذي لم يظهر أي سميه عند التراكيز المختبرة.
