المستخلص: Undoubtedly, the social conditions in which the Diyala governorate community lives in particular are fragile security events, And successive violent incidents, which were reflected in the social behaviors practiced by some individuals, which may be rejected by the values, customary and societal. And it has not become subject to social rejection and disapproval due to the plight of society, so it has become necessary to rearrange and consolidate sound human concepts, in a way that guarantees the re-development of their inherent self in the human psyche. And that concept of a culture of peace is an important concept that does not only mean renouncing violence, and prepares to advocate for the preservation of human dignity and others, and all of that needs institutions that work to foster this concept through a community police institution that has a security connection to the origin and social tasks aimed at preventing, treating and developing individuals Society, defending it and immunizing it from being drawn into criminal and deviant behaviors, which reflects negatively on the reality of the individual, the family, and society as a whole , The current research aimed to clarify the social roles provided by this institution and to determine the extent of its contribution to spreading a culture of peace in the crisis community The current research is considered descriptive analytical research that was based on the comprehensive social survey approach for all members of the community police institution in Diyala province, and the total twenty-seven numbers affiliated, and the research was based on the simple observation tool, and the questionnaire tool that included twenty questions to measure the subject of the research within Diyala Governorate The research reached a number of field results and presented a number of important recommendations that attempt to contribute to the development of the institution's work if it was taken.

مما لاشك فيه إن الأوضاع الاجتماعية التي يعيشها مجتمع محافظة ديالى على نحو خاص من أحداث أمنية هشة، وحوادث عنفيه متلاحقة، انعكست بذلك على السلوكيات الاجتماعية التي يمارسها بعض الأفراد وهي قد تكون مرفوضة بالتأصيل القيمي والعرفي والمجتمعي، وإنها أضحت لا تتعرض للرفض والاستهجان المجتمعي بسبب مأزومية المجتمع، لذلك أصبح من الضروري إعادة ترتيب وترسيخ المفاهيم الإنسانية السليمة، بما يضمن إعادة تنمية تأصلها في النفس الإنسانية، ويعد مفهوم ثقافة السلام من المفاهيم الهامة التي لا تعني فقط نبذ العنف، وإنما تعداه للدعوة لحفظ كرامة الإنسان وغيرها، وكل ذلك يحتاج لمؤسسات وجهات تعمل على رعاية وتعزيز هذا المفهوم ومنها مؤسسة الشرطة المجتمعية ذات الارتباط الأمني بالأصل والمهام الاجتماعية الهادفة لوقاية وعلاج وتنمية أفراد المجتمع، والدفاع عنه وتحصينه من الانجرار بسلوكيات إجرامية وانحرافيه، والذي ينعكس بصورة سلبية على واقع الفرد، والأسرة، والمجتمع ككل، ولقد هدف البحث الحالي إلى توضيح الأدوار الاجتماعية التي تقدمها هذه المؤسسة والتعرف على مدى مساهمتها بنشر ثقافة السلام في المجتمع المأزوم. ويعد البحث الحالي من البحوث الوصفية التحليلية التي استندت لمنهج المسح الاجتماعي الشامل لجميع منتسبي مؤسسة الشرطة المجتمعية في محافظة ديالى، والبالغ عددهم الكلي (٢٧) منتسباً، واستند البحث لأداة الملاحظة البسيطة، ولأداة الاستبانة التي ضمت عشرين سؤالا لقياس موضوع البحث ضمن محافظة ديالى. وتوصل البحث لعدد من النتائج الميدانية وقدم عدداً من المقترحات الهامة التي تحاول الإسهام بتطوير عمل المؤسسة إذا ما تم الأخذ بها.
