إن التطور الدلالي إفراز منطقي للتطور الصرفي الذي أحدثه القرآن الكريم في لغة العرب تبعا للتحول اللغوي الناشئ عن التغير الراديكاني في عقيدة أهل قريش بعد إسلامهم، وخير برهان على ذلك الأمر شعر صدر الاسلام من ألفاظ ومعاني لم تكن مستعملة في الجاهلية أمثال التقوى والصلاة بمعناها الفقهي وغيرها من الألفاظ الجديدة التي دخلت القاموس اللغوي لأهل قريش بعد إسلامهم وكانت ناتجة عن تطور صرفي. وكانت وراء من التطور أسباب وعوامل متنوعة بين أسباب حضارية واجتماعية ولغوية (صرفية) وقد تضافرت لتفرز تطورا دلاليا قائم على تطور صرفي حيث كانت غايته استبدال المنظومة المعرفية البعيدة عن سمو العقيدة بمنظومة حديثة تنهض على رقى المقصد الروحي من خلال اللغة المتطورة صرفيا ونحويا. وقد تجلى التطور الدلالي الناتج عن التطور الصرفي في مسارات متباينة حيث وسع القرآن في تطوره الدلالي ما كان ضيق كما في لفظة (القائم) كما أن القرآن قد ضيق ما كان متسعا مثل لفظة (المحراب) التي وقع لها التطور الصرفي بواسطة الامالة فجعلها تدل على معني جديد كما أنه نقل بعض الكلمات من مجال إلى أخر عن طريق الكناية مثلما حدث من تطور دلالي لمفردة (الغائط) والتي حدث لها إعلال بالقلب ولولي التطور الصرفي لما دلت على هذا المعنى الجديد.
The semantic development is a logical excretion of the morphological development brought about by the Holy Qur’an in the Arabic language in accordance with the linguistic transformation that resulted from the radical change in the creed of the people of Quraysh after their conversion to Islam, and the best proof of that is the poetry of early Islam from words and meanings that were not used in the pre- Islamic era, such as piety and prayer in its jurisprudential sense and others. It is one of the new words that entered the linguistic dictionary of the people of Quraish after their conversion to Islam and was the result of a morphological development. There were various reasons and factors behind the development, among cultural, social, and linguistic (morphological) reasons, which combined to produce a semantic development based on a morphological development, as its goal was to replace the knowledge system far from the supremacy of faith with a modem system that rises to the advancement of the spiritual purpose through the morphologically and grammatically developed language. The semantic development resulting from the morphological development was manifested in different paths, as the Qur’an expanded in its semantic development what was narrow, as in the word (Al-Qa’im), and the Qur’an narrowed what was wide, such as the word (the mihrab), which the morphological development occurred by means of tilting, making it denote a meaning. It is new, as it transferred some words from one field to another by means of the metonymy, as happened from the semantic development of the word (excrement), which had an eloquence in the heart, and if the morphological development took place, it indicated this new meaning.
