المستخلص: يلعب الأعلام دورا محوريا في قيام منظومة قيمية ترسخ قيم التسامح والحب والدعم النفسي والتعزيز والمساندة والتفاهم والحوار بين أفراد المجتمعات لذا ظهرت هذه الدراسة بعنوان (إسهام وسائل الأعلام في تنمية قيم التسامح الفكري) وهدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على مدى إسهام (الإدارة والعاملين والمحتوى) للإذاعة والتلفزيون في الخليج العربي في تنمية التسامح الفكري لدى الجمهور وأخيرا سعت للتعرف على التصور المقترح لدور الخدمة الاجتماعية في ذالك، ولتحقيق هذه الأهداف استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي كما اعتمدت الاستبانة كأداة لجمع البيانات واختارت عينة عشوائية بسيطة عدد (200) من الإعلاميين والمتخصصين والمهتمين بالإعلام على مستوى الخليج العربي وكانت من أهم نتائج الدراسة أن إدارة الإذاعة والتلفزيون لا تميز في سياسة التوظيف بين المتقدمين على اختلاف الانتماء سوى القبلي أو العائلي والمذهبي كما تستقطب أعضاء من خلفيات ثقافية وفكرية متنوعة كما تراعي القرارات المصالح المتعارضة وتلتزم بمبادئ الشورى كما أتسم العاملين بدرجة كبيرة ب تحليهم بالصبر وسعة الصدر مع الجمهور كما تميز محتوى الإذاعة والتلفزيون بتبصير الجمهور بقيم التعاون والتطوع ووقاية الشباب من التطرف وظهرت الدراسة بتصور مقترح تمثل في طرح مبادرات تشجع روح المحبة والإخاء وفتح المجال لتنميه فرص الحوار بين الجمهور على اختلاف أفكارهم واهتماماتهم وكانت من أهم توصيات الدراسة.

Media plays a pivotal role in any society’s value system. It can be used as a vital tool to instill the values of tolerance, love, psychological support, solidarity, support, understanding and dialogue among members of the society. Therefore, I conducted this study, which is titled: (Media’s Part in the Development of Intellectual Tolerance Values). The study aimed at identifying the role played (media management, media staff and the content) broadcasted over the radio and television channels in the Arab Gulf in the development of intellectual tolerance among the audience. In addition, the study attempted determining the proposed perception of the role of played by social service in this respect. In order to achieve these goals, the researcher used the descriptive analytical methodology and developed a questionnaire as a tool to collect data. Moreover, the researcher selected a random study sample of media professionals, specialists and amateurs Number (200) From the Arabian Gulf. The most important results of the study were as follows: Radio and Television Administration do not follow a bias employment policy that distinguishes among applicants of different tribal, family and/or sectarian affiliations. Further, the results demonstrated that Radio and Television broadcasts attract applicants from diverse cultural and intellectual backgrounds and that media administration’s decisions take into account opposing interests and adhere to the principle of Shura (i.e. consultation). Moreover, the staff working in media broadcasts was, to a large extent, characterized by patience when dealing with the public. As for the content of Radio and television channels, it aimed mainly at enlightening the public on the values of cooperation, volunteering and driving the youth away from extremism. Finally, the study made a number of recommendations, such as: Launching initiatives that promote love and solidarity among people.
