The research in the architecture of sahara is one of the most important topics that can lead us to access and uncovering the different facts concerning the art and the desert architecture. This latter is considered as model that still maintains the architectural characteristics, social relations and cultural heritage. In this intervention, I'm going to present archeological study of Mestoua ksar in Touggourt in order to show the characteristics and features of the population in desert areas according to many aspects: architecturally, socially and culturally. Focusing on the desert location, then the castle presentation as well as the focus on the structural framework characteristics of the castle, the building materials used in construction down to the analytical study of some properties and characteristics of desert architecture. We have obtained that this architecture collected between many structural building types, such as Islamic religious, civil, and military, it really represents the human challenge in this harsh environment. We ended the intervention by the most important results obtained to answer the problematic that serves one of the conference axes. |
