المستخلص: يتضح أن فرانسوا ماري أروو شهد في عصره كل التغييرات التي الحساسة. ففي وقت مبكر جدا، كان مسجونا لتسببه في كراهية الشعب الغضوب للسلطة: إنه ذبح فكريا النظام الملكي ورجال الدين. وقد أدى تعطشه للحرية والمساواة للعمل والدعوة دائما لكشف الحقيقة. عبر فولتير قرن من الزمن في أوروبا التي تعاني من العديد من التغييرات الفلسفية والعلمية والتاريخية والفنية والأدبية، وأصبح يشكل نموذجا للمثقف في مشاركته في صراعات مع عواقب وخيمة، خصوصا المتعلقة منها بالتنوير.

François-Marie Arouet is illustrated in an age when all the changes occurred. It was very early jailed and for having provoked the hatred of the people of the irascible power: it was slaying monarchy as the clergy. His thirst for freedom and equality has led to action advocating always the party of the truth. Voltaire crossed a century in Europe experiencing many changes in its scientific, historical, artistic, literary and philosophical. He became the prototype of the intellectual engaged in a struggle with serious consequences for the man at the top of represented Enlightenment.

François-Marie Arouet s’est illustré dans un siècle où tous les bouleversements se produisirent. Il fut très tôt embastillé et ce, pour avoir provoqué l’irascible haine des gens du pouvoir : il pourfendit la monarchie comme le clergé. Sa soif de liberté et d’égalité l’a mené jusqu’à l’action prônant toujours le parti de la vérité. Voltaire traversa un siècle dans une Europe en proie à ses multiples changements scientifique, historique, artistique, littéraire et philosophique. Il devint le prototype de l’intellectuel engagé dans un combat aux lourdes conséquences pour l’homme qu’il représentât au sommet des Lumières.
