تهدف الدراسة الحالية إلى توضيح وإبراز أهمية ومزايا إنشاء واستخدام شبكات المعلومات والاتصالات بالنسبة للأفراد، المؤسسات المعلوماتية والتعليمية، وكذلك سائر مؤسسات وكيانات المجتمعات الإنسانية. ونحاول جاهدين في هذه الدراسة، أن نبرز ونوضح العديد من المبررات والدوافع التي كانت ومازالت بمثابة عاملا مشجعا لإنشاء وتطبيق التشابك أو المشابكة المعلوماتية بين الأفراد وكذلك المؤسسات القائم عملها على إنتاج واستخدام البيانات والمعلومات كمقتضيات رئيسية تشكل وتكون دورها في المجتمعات البشرية. في ضوء ذلك، تبرز هذه الدراسة الفوائد والميزات التي تعود على جميع أفراد ومؤسسات المجتمع من إقامة وإنشاء الكيانات والتكتلات التعاونية= الكيانات المتحدة= الكيانات المتشابكة بشكل عام، وأيضا الفوائد والميزات التي تعود على مؤسساتنا المعلوماتية والمكتبية بشكل خاص من إنشاء وبناء تشابكات معلوماتية قائمة على استخدام تقنيات المعلومات والاتصالات الحديثة. فلشبكات المعلومات دورها بالغ الأهمية والذي لا يمكن إنكاره وتجاهله بالنسبة لمؤسسات المعلومات والمكتبات الداخلة والمنتمية إلى تكتلات شبكية، وكذلك أيضا بالنسبة لقاعدة المستفيدين من هذه المؤسسات. فالهدف الرئيسي من تواجد مؤسسات المكتبات والمعلومات على اختلاف أنواعها وأحجامها، يكمن في مدي نجاحها في توفير الكم والكيف المناسب من المعلومات لجماهير المستفيدين منها، بغية تلبية الاحتياجات المعلوماتية لهؤلاء المستفيدين، تلك الاحتياجات التي تتطلب تلبيتها السيطرة والتنظيم للكم الهائل من المعلومات والمتاح في أشكال ولغات متعددة ومتنوعة، وقد كان ومازال لشبكات الحاسبات والاتصالات وغيرها من التطورات التكنولوجية الحديثة دورها الكبير الذي لا نستطيع تجاهله فيما يتعلق بالمهام والأعمال وكذلك الخدمات والأنشطة المنوط من مؤسسات المكتبات والمعلومات تأديتها وتقديمها حتى يتحقق الهدف المرجو من تواجدها بمجتمعاتنا البشرية.
The present study aims to clarify and highlight the importance and benefits of the establishment and use of information and communication networks for individuals, information and educational institutions, as well as other institutions and entities of human societies.
