|a تحتل السياحة في عصرنا الحالي مكانة بارزة ضمن القطاعات التي تساهم في رفد اقتصاديات الدول، نظرا لآثارها الإيجابية على مختلف التوازنات الاقتصادية الكبرى، بحيث تساهم في تحسين موازين المدفوعات وزيادة الدخل القومي ورفع القاعدة الإنتاجية، وتوفير مناصب شغل للمجتمعات المحلية، فعلى غرار الدول التي تتجه نحو التنمية الشاملة بإشراك كل القطاعات الاقتصادية، تسعى الجزائر إلى جعل السياحة قطاعا حيويا إلى جانب القطاعات الأخرى المدرة للثروة، وهذا بالنظر إلى الإمكانيات السياحية التي تتمتع بها والتي تؤهلها بأن تكون مقصدا سياحيا واعدا، إلا أن عدم استغلال هذه الموارد، جعل من السياحة قطاعا مهمشا تكاد تنعدم مساهمته في دعم الاقتصاد الوطني بالجزائر.
