المستخلص: The studio environment plays a fundamental role in the students' architectural life and influences their motivation to learn and gain 'creativity' competence. Studies have shown that there are apparent deficiencies in it and not keep up with the significant changes in the practice of the profession. The research focused on developing the studio environment and extracting a clear, integrated vision of its design standards, characteristics, and practices that support creativity. The results of the research are considered as a pillar of assessment plans of learning environments. The research answered with a new comprehensive concept that is consistent with the requirements of practicing the profession at the moment the following questions: (1) What are the characteristics and practices of the learning environment in the studio? (2) How can they be assessed? (3) What are the roles of both the teacher and the student?. The research depended on the scientific approaches: inductive, system analysis, and practical. It concluded the architectural design criteria of the advanced studio. It also deduced nine critical characteristics of the studio's creative environment and practices. The research suggested a guide to measuring those characteristics, reference practices, and program policies that support an incentive or competence for students' creativity. The guide sheds light on the characteristics of the professor, culture, and professional practices in the studio, the impact of the studio's architectural design on the student's motivation for learning and creativity, the extent of its use of information technology, the style of the culture of the studio, communication practices and the student's architectural culture supporting/hindering the process of creativity. The research bridged the gap between the results of previous research. It concluded an integrated vision of enhancing the motivation of creativity, developing the efficiency of creativity for students in the studio environment, and designing tools for measurement. The research recommended the application of the results to improve learning environments in architectural education programs and open a new field of research development of architectural education focused on the student and how.

تلعب بيئة الأستوديو دورا جوهريا في حياة الطلاب المعمارية والتأثير على دافعيتهم للتعلم واكتسابهم كفاءة "الإبداع". أثبتت الدراسات وجود قصور واضح في تلك البيئة وعدم مواكبتها للتغيرات الكبيرة في ممارسة المهنة. اهتم البحث بتطوير بيئة الأستوديو واستخلاص صورة متكاملة واضحة عن معايير تصميمها وخصائصها وممارساتها الداعمة للإبداع. تمثل نتائج البحث ركيزة في أعداد خطط تقويم بيئة التعلم-وهي مدخل جوهري لنجاح عملية الإبداع-بما يساهم في حل مشاكل التعليم المعماري. أجاب البحث عن تساؤلاته حول ماهية خصائص وممارسات بيئة التعلم بالأستوديو بمفهوم جديد شامل يتسق مع متطلبات ممارسة المهنة في الوقت الراهن وكيفية تقييمها ودور الأستاذ والطالب. ارتكز البحث إلى المنهجين العلميين: الاستقرائي، تحليل النظم وكذلك المنهج العملي. استنتج البحث معايير عناصر التصميم المعماري للأستوديو المتطور، كما استنتج تسعة خصائص أساسية لبيئة الأستوديو الداعمة للإبداع وما تشمله من ممارسات. اقترح البحث دليلا لقياس تحقق تلك الخصائص والممارسات المرجعية وسياسات البرنامج الداعمة لرفع حافز الإبداع وتنمية كفاءة الإبداع للطلاب. سلط الدليل الضوء على صفات أستاذ التصميم وثقافته وممارساته المهنية بالأستوديو، أثر التصميم المعماري للأستوديو على دافعية الطالب للتعلم والإبداع، مدى استفادته من ثورة تكنولوجيا المعلومات بالأستوديو، نمط ثقافة الأستوديو، ممارسات التواصل وثقافة الطالب المعمارية الداعمة/ العائقة لعملية الإبداع. سد البحث الفجوة في نتائج الأبحاث السابقة فاستنتج صورة متكاملة لكيفية تعزيز حافز الإبداع وتنمية كفاءة الإبداع للطلاب ببيئة الأستوديو وصمم أدوات للقياس. أوصى البحث بتطبيق النتائج لتحسين بيئات التعلم ببرامج التعليم المعماري وفتح مجالا جديدا لأبحاث تطوير التعليم المعماري تركز على الطالب وكيفية تحسين قدراته الإبداعية.
