المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على درجة ممارسة أعضاء هيئة التدريس للاتصال غير اللفظي بجامعة جدة من منظور الطلبة، واتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، واستخدمت الاستبانة كأداة لجمع بيانات الدراسة وتحقيق أهدافها، إذ صمم الباحث استبانة، ووزعها على طلبة كلية التربية وكلية العلوم الاجتماعية للعام الدراسي (2020-2021)، واستجابت عينة منهم تقدر بـــ (178) طالبا، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج أهمها ما يلي: جاءت ممارسة أعضاء هيئة التدريس للاتصال غير اللفظي بمحور المظهر الخارجي ومحور تعبيرات الوجه والعينين بدرجة كبيرة، بينما جاءت درجة الممارسة متوسطة في محور الإيماءات وحركات الجسم، توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا بين استجابات أفراد العينة حول درجة ممارسة أعضاء هيئة التدريس للاتصال غير اللفظي بجامعة جدة في محور المظهر الخارجي، ومحور الإيماءات وحركات الجسم تعزى لاختلاف الكلية، ولصالح كلية التربية، وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا في محور المظهر الخارجي، ومحور الإيماءات وحركات الجسم تعزى لاختلاف التخصص العلمي لصالح تخصصات كلية التربية في محور المظهر الخارجي، ولصالح تخصص علم النفس في محور الإيماءات وحركات الجسم، وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا في كل محاور الدراسة، وعلى المستوى الكلي تعزى لاختلاف المستوى الدراسي للطلبة، ولصالح طلبة المستوى الثامن، وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا في محور المظهر الخارجي، ومحور تعبيرات الوجه والعينين؛ تعزى لاختلاف المعدل التراكمي، ولصالح الذين معدلهم التراكمي أقل من (3.75).

The study aimed to identify the degree of faculty members' practice of non-verbal communication at Jeddah University as perceived by students. It adopted the analytical descriptive approach within a questionnaire to collect data. The questionnaire was administrated to education and social sciences faculty students in the academic year (2020-2021); (178) students responded to the questionnaire. The study reached several findings, the most important of which: the faculty members’ practice of non-verbal communication with the domain of external appearance and the domain of facial expressions and eyes came to a large extent while the degree of practice was moderate in the domain of gestures and body movements attributed to the differences in major, and in favor of educational colleges and in the external appearance in favor of psychology major in gestures and body movements domain. There are significant statistical differences between the responses of the sample regarding the degree of the teaching staff’s practice of non-verbal communication at the University of Jeddah in the domain of external appearance, the domain of gestures, and the body movements due to the difference in the college, and in favor of the College of Education. There are significant statistical differences in the domain of external appearance and the domain of gestures and body movements due to the difference in scientific specialization. There are significant statistical differences in all domains of the study and at the total level due to the difference in the academic level of students in favor of the eighth level student. There are significant statistical differences in the domain of the external appearance and the domain of facial and eye expressions due to the difference in the cumulative average, and in favor of those whose GPA is less than (3.75).
