المستخلص: تعد أغاني الأطفال الشعبية من أهم المأثورات الشعبية، لذا هدف البحث إلى تحليل بعض أغاني الأطفال الشعبية في دولة الكويت من أجل استنباط السمات اللحنية لأغاني الأطفال الشعبية في دولة الكويت، اتبع البحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي على عينة مكونة من أغاني الأطفال الشعبية في دولة الكويت وقد راعي الباحث التنوع من حيث مناسبات إلقاء الأغنية، المقام المستخدم، واشتملت الدراسة التحليلية على ثلاثة أعمال من أغاني الأطفال هي (شوط يالبطة- يالمذن- قرقيعان البنات) وقد اشتمل الجزء التطبيقي للبحث على تحليل عينة البحث من أغاني الأطفال الشعبية في دولة الكويت واستنباط السمات اللحنية لتلك الأغنيات، ومن ثم عرض تلك السمات والخصائص على مجموعة من الخبراء في شكل استطلاع رأي للسمات اللحنية لأغنية الأطفال الشعبية.

Folk children's songs are among the most important folk traditions, so the research aimed to analyze some folk children's songs in the State of Kuwait in order to derive the melodic features of folk children's songs in the State of Kuwait. The research followed the descriptive and analytical method on a sample made up of folk children's songs in the State of Kuwait, and the researcher considered the diversity in terms of recitation occasions, the place used, and the analytical study included three works of children’s songs, namely (Shoot Yalbata- Yalmathen- Gergiaan al banat). The part included The applied research is to analyze the research sample of folk children's songs in the State of Kuwait and to derive the melodic features of those songs, and then present those features and characteristics to a group of experts in the form of a survey of the melodic features of the popular children's song, and the results of the induction resulted in the confirmation of many melodic features. The most important ones * Popular children's songs in the State of Kuwait were characterized by their reliance on simple musical formulas, especially the binary formulas (A-B), due to their simplicity to make them easy to remember, repeat and transmit between generations. * The melodies of the Kuwaiti folk games songs are based on a limited number of degrees, beginning with one degree in a laconic style especially in the songs of kinetic games, or on two, three or four degrees from one of the main Arab genres, such as: Kurds- Ajam and Nahawand, and the Rast genders are rarely used Al- Bayati and others are three-fourths of the timepiece, as they need a bit of precision and technical mastery, while these songs are characterized by the free expression and improvisational performance of the children's singing performance often. * The melodies of Kuwait folk songs are formulated on the basis of a sentence or a melodic model, consisting of one small musical phrase that is often repeated continuously, and in a manner that may be relatively long or short as the length of the linguistic text or the length of the game or dance, if any. The researcher concluded with a set of recommendations, the most prominent of which was the need to pay attention to documenting Kuwaiti folk children's songs through specialists, with proper notation, by crosscutting, to keep them from disappearing or being forgotten.
