المستخلص: إيمانا من الباحثان بالدور الفعال والمؤثر لتلك القدرات في تعلم دقة الأداء الدفاعي في لعبة كرة اليد ما حدي الباحثان إلى دراستها والتعرف على مستويات هذه القدرات لدى لاعبي الأندية المنطقة الجنوبية بكرة اليد للشباب فضلا عن الكشف عن علاقتها ونسب مساهمتها بدقة الأداء الدفاعي في لعبة كرة اليد وهي محاولة علمية إسهاما منه لخدمة العلم والمعرفة والرياضة العراقية. أما أهداف البحث فقد كانت التعرف على نسب مساهمة القدرات البنية والعقلية في دقة الأداء الدفاعي في لعب كرة اليد لديهم. أما الفصل الثاني فتطرق الباحثان إلى المنهج البحث باستخدام المنهج الوصفي بأسلوب المسحي والدراسات الارتباطية، أما مجتمع البحث وعينته تم تحديدها وهم من لاعبي الأندية المنطقة الجنوبية بكرة اليد للشباب والبالغ عددهم (٧٩) لاعبا. أما الفصل الثالث احتوى على عرض وتحليل ومناقشة نتائج البحث. أما الفصل الرابع احتوى على الاستنتاجات والتوصيات وكانت اهم الاستنتاجات الاختبارات التي تم تحديدها وجود علاقة ارتباط ذات دلالة معنوية بين اهم القدرات العقلية بدقة الأداء الدفاعي لدى لاعبي كرة اليد الشباب. أما التوصيات التأكيد على تطوير القد رات العقلية لارتباطها بدقة الأداء الدفاعي لدى العينة بنسب مختلفة تتناسب مع أهمية كل قدرة كذلك التأكيد على تطوير المتطلبات البدنية الخاصة والمرتبطة بدقة الأداء الدفاعي لديهم

The two researchers believed in the active and influential role of these abilities in learning the accuracy of the defensive performance in the handball game, which the researchers studied and identified the levels of these abilities in the players of the clubs of the South region handball for young people as well as the disclosure of their relationship and their contribution to the accuracy of the defensive performance in handball game A scientific attempt to contribute to the service of science, knowledge and sports Iraqi. The objectives of the research were to identify the percentages of the contribution of structural and mental abilities in the accuracy of the defense performance in their handball game. As for the second chapter, the two researchers tackled the research method using the descriptive method in the survey method and the correlative studies. The research society and its eye were identified as players from the clubs of the southern region of the handball for young people (79) players. The third chapter consisted of presenting, analyzing and discussing the results of the research. The fourth chapter contained conclusions and recommendations. The most important conclusions were the tests that identified a significant correlation between the most important mental abilities in the accuracy of the defensive performance of young handball players. The recommendations emphasize the development of mental abilities as they relate to the accuracy of the defense performance in the sample at different rates commensurate with the importance of each capacity as well as emphasize the development of physical requirements specific and linked to the accuracy of their defense performance.
