|b The effects of the Coronavirus were not limited only to the health sector; they affected important sectors in Algeria such as the Small and Medium Enterprises sector. The impact of the pandemic and the preventive measures taken in various areas are the cause of the sharp decline in SME revenues and the decline in economic activity. This article aims to shed light on the impact of the coronavirus (Covid-19) on the Algerian economy, pointing to the SME sector and how it is affected by the virus. The result of this article shows that the coronavirus (Covid-19) had negative effects on SMEs. Algeria has taken steps to overcome the crisis and is trying to further promote and encourage this sector. To this end, we propose the establishment of an emergency system that can benefit the economy and especially national SMEs.

|d Les effets du Coronavirus ne se sont pas limités seulement au secteur de la santé, ils ont touché d’importants secteurs en Algérie tel que le secteur des Petites et moyennes entreprises. Les répercussions de la pandémie et les mesures préventives prises dans des différents domaines sont la cause de la forte baisse des revenus des PME et le recul de l’activité économiques. Cet article vise à éclairer l’impact du coronavirus (Covid 19) sur l’économie Algérienne, en pointant du doigt le secteur des PME et comment il est affecté par le virus. Le résultat de cet article montre que le coronavirus (Covid-19) avait des effets néfastes sur les PME. L’Algérie a pris des mesures pour surmonter la crise et essaie de promouvoir et d’encourager davantage ce secteur. A cet effet, nous proposons la mise en place d’un dispositif d’urgence dont peuvent bénéficier l'économie et particulièrement les PME nationales.
