المستخلص: Search aim This research aims to identify "the use of active learning and its effect on learning some offensive skills and cognitive achievement in handball." Curriculum used: The researcher used the experimental method of pre-post measurement for two groups, one is control and the other is experimental, due to its relevance to the type and nature of the research. Research Sample and Characteristics: The research community included the first group students at the Faculty of Physical Education, Benha University, their number (390) students, and the research sample included (80) students who were chosen in a deliberate manner and they were divided randomly into two equal groups, one of them is control and the other is experimental, and the number of each group is (30) students. The researcher sought the assistance of (20) students from outside the basic sample and from the same community to conduct scientific transactions and exploratory studies. The most important results: The learning program using active learning contributed in a positive way to the level of learning some basic offensive skills in the handball sport under study for the experimental group students. 2- The learning program using active learning was more influential in the level of learning some basic offensive skills in the sport of handball under discussion than the traditional program (explanation and presentation), which indicates its effectiveness and impact. 3- There are statistically significant differences between the averages of the two dimensional measures of the experimental and control groups in the level of cognitive achievement and learning some offensive skills in handball for students of the first group at the Faculty of Physical Education - Benha University in favor of the experimental group.
