المستخلص: This research work is based on a qualitative study conducted among 12 Algerian startups, between January and April 2020. This research seem to identify the main constraints that startups encounter in their development in Algeria. The analysis tends to study the national innovation system in the Algerian context, in order to propose how we can adapt it to the startups’ needs. The purpose of this study is to identify the main factors which should be taken by the Algerian Government in improving its national innovation system. The Algerian Government did not include startups in the implementation process of the national innovation system. The results of this research work seem to propose an innovation process adapted to startups in the Algerian context, and also show the development potential of Algerian startups, and tend to submit perspectives to integrate startups as a component of the national innovation system.

Le présent travail de recherche s’appuie sur une étude qualitative menée auprès de 12 fondateurs de startups en Algérie entre janvier et avril 2020. L’analyse des discours de cet échantillon tend à identifier les principales contraintes que rencontrent ces startups dans leur développement en Algérie. L’analyse tend également à étudier le système national d’innovation dans le contexte algérien, pour proposer des améliorations pour l’adapter aux besoins des startups. Le but de cette étude est d’identifier les principaux facteurs devant être pris en compte par l’Etat algérien dans l’amélioration de son système national d’innovation. L’Etat a occulté de prendre en considération les startups dans sa mise en place du système national d’innovation. Les résultats de ce travail permettent de proposer un processus d’innovation adapté aux startups dans le contexte algérien, et témoignent du potentiel de développement des startups algériennes. L’idée est de soumettre des perspectives pour intégrer les startups en tant que composante du système national d’innovation.
