المستخلص: This research mainly aimed to study the problems of cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants in Beheira Governorate, to identify the problems facing the surveyed farmers during the production and marketing of the medicinal and aromatic plants under study, to identify the role of agricultural extension in the production and marketing of medicinal and aromatic plants from the viewpoint of the respondents, and to determine the correlational and regression relationships between the degree of presence problems of cultivating medicinal and aromatic plants in Beheira Governorate, and identifying the proposals of the surveyed farmers to overcome the problems they face in the field of production and marketing of medicinal and aromatic plants. The research results showed that: The most important production problems mentioned by the respondents are: the small size of the agricultural land holdings and their dispersal makes it difficult for service operations, especially the mechanical ones, the lack of improvement of the available local varieties and the development of new varieties that are popular in foreign markets, the spread of insects and birds causing some damage to the crop, the emergence of plant wilt disease from more The problems facing producers of medicinal and aromatic plants, and the lack of specialized agricultural extension agents and consequently the absence of technical guidance during the planting season, with rates of 95.6%, 93.3%, 92.2%, 88.3%, 86.1%, respectively. The most important manufacturing problems mentioned by the respondents are: the small number of extraction plants and therefore most of their production is exported raw and this leads to great waste, the failure to establish centers for collecting, drying, pressing, distilling and packing medicinal and aromatic plants in the places of their cultivation, not establishing a unit to sterilize the exported plants in order to reduce the high rates of microbial load Which does not satisfy the importer, and the distance of factories from the places of cultivation, which costs financial burdens for transportation, at rates of 63.9%, 62.2%, 52.2% and 51.7%, respectively.

استهدف هذا البحث بصفة رئيسية التعرف على المشكلات التي تواجه الزراع المبحوثين بمحافظة البحيرة، أثناء إنتاج وتسويق النباتات الطبية، والعطرية موضع الدراسة، التعرف على دور الإرشاد الزراعي في إنتاج وتسويق النباتات الطبية والعطرية من وجهة نظر الزراع المبحوثين، تحديد العلاقات الارتباطية والانحدارية بين مشكلات زراعة النباتات الطبية والعطرية بمحافظة البحيرة، والتعرف على مقترحات الزراع المبحوثين للتغلب على المشكلات التي تواجههم في مجال إنتاج وتسويق النباتات الطبية والعطرية. وقد أوضحت النتائج البحثية أن: أهم المشكلات الإنتاجية التي ذكرها المبحوثين هي: صغر حجم الحيازات الأرضية المزرعية وتبعثرها يصعب عمليات الخدمة وبالأخص الآلية منها، عدم تحسين الأصناف المحلية المتاحة واستنباط الأصناف الجديدة والتي تلقى رواجاً في الأسواق الخارجية، انتشار الحشرات والطيور التي تسبب الإضرار بالمحاصيل، ظهور مرض ذبول النباتات من أكثر المشكلات التي تواجه منتجي النباتات الطبية والعطرية، وعدم توافر المرشدين الزراعيين المتخصصين وبالتالي غياب الإرشادات الفنية أثناء موسم الزراعة وذلك بنسب 95.6%، 3.93%، 92.2%، 88.3%، 86.1% على الترتيب. أهم المشكلات التصنيعية التي ذكرها المبحوثين هي: قلة عدد مصانع الاستخلاص وبالتالي يتم تصدير معظم إنتاجهم خاماً وهذا يؤدي لهدر كبير، عدم إقامة مراكز لتجميع وتجفيف وعصر وتقطير وتعبئة النباتات الطبية والعطرية في أماكن زراعتها، عدم إنشاء وحدة لتعقيم النباتات المصدرة وذلك لخفض نسب الحمل الميكروبي المرتفع والتي لا يرضى المستورد، وبعد المصانع عن أماكن الزراعة مما يكلف أعباء مالية للنقل وذلك بنسب 63.9%، 62.2%، 52.2%، 51.7% على الترتيب.
