المستخلص: Port performance is one of the essential elements to optimize the international logistics chain and guarantee the flow of world trade. Uris article exposes the problem of ports and logistics in Algeria. In fact, the control of logistics costs goes hand in hand with the commercial opening of a country. Today, voices are being raised to condemn the blatant lack of specialization at the level of Algerian ports. A specialization that contributes significantly to improving port efficiency. This study also analyzes the causes of port inefficiency in Algeria as well as the various obstacles from which the overwhelming majority of Algerian ports suffer as well as their effects on the optimization of the logistics chain.

La performance portuaire est l’un des éléments essentiels pour optimiser la chaîne logistique à l’international et garantir les flux des échanges mondiaux. Cet article expose la problématique des ports et de la logistique en Algérie. En effet, la maîtrise des coûts logistiques va de pair avec l’ouverture commerciale d’un pays. Aujourd'hui, des voix sont élevées pour condamner le manque flagrant de la spécialisation au niveau des ports algériens. Une spécialisation qui contribue d'une manière significative à l’amélioration de l’efficience portuaire. Cette étude analyse également les causes de l'inefficience portuaire en Algérie ainsi que les différents obstacles dont souffrent les ports algériens dans leur écrasante majorité ainsi que leurs effets sur l’optimisation de la chaîne logistique.
