المستخلص: The animal production sector is considered one of the important productive sectors, whether on the national economy or the agricultural sector in which food security and economic development are achieved, as it is the main source of animal protein necessary for the individual's food. The research problem was represented in the increase in the growth rates of red meat consumption as a result of the steady increase in the population in addition to the decrease in production of red meat, which led to the widening of the gap between production and consumption and consequently a decrease in the average per capita share of red meat. In addition, animal production does not receive sufficient attention within the governorate, as it is noticed that the total production of red meat in Dakahlia Governorate is very small, as it was estimated at about 10.63 thousand tons, representing about 1.24% of the total red meat production in the republic, which is about 858 thousand tons. The research aims in general to study and analyze the efficiency of the use of agricultural resources in the production of red meat in Dakahlia Governorate as a main goal through a set of sub-goals, and the research concluded that the production of red meat for the category of senior breeders takes place in the stage of economic production in which production efficiency is achieved. While the production of red meat for small and medium farms category is not done at the stage in which production efficiency is achieved and therefore these elements must be reused and intensified to reach the optimal combination of them and reach the stage of economic production. It was found that the most important problems facing red meat producers include production problems, financing problems, marketing problems, and problems related to agricultural policies. The most important proposals to overcome these problems are that the producer buys feed in the form of raw materials and then is prepared, crushed and presented to the animal in the final form in order to ensure Feed quality. On the other side, the state role is to support the feed, increase guidance and awareness through specialized agencies, to activate laws that criminalize the slaughter of young calves. Reducing the interest rate to encourage work on such projects. The state works to monitor importers for foreign breeds, as the importer imports bad types and distributed them in some markets for the purpose of increasing profit, while others keep the excellent varieties for himself or give them to others at high prices.

يعتبر قطاع الإنتاج الحيواني أحد القطاعات الإنتاجية الهامة سواء على الاقتصاد القومي أو القطاع الزراعي الذي يتحقق به الأمن الغذائي والتنمية الاقتصادية باعتباره المصدر الرئيسي للبروتين الحيواني اللازم لغذاء الفرد، وتمثلت مشكلة البحث في زيادة معدلات نمو استهلاك اللحوم الحمراء نتيجـة الزيادة المضطردة في السكان بالإضافة إلى انخفاض الإنتاج من اللحوم الحمراء مما أدى إلى اتساع الفجوة بـين الإنتاج والاستهلاك وبالتالي انخفاض متوسط نصيب الفرد من اللحوم الحمراء، إضافة إلى ذلك فإن الإنتاج الحيواني لا ينال الاهتمام الكافي داخل المحافظة حيث يلاحظ أن إجمالي الإنتاج من اللحوم الحمراء بمحافظة الدقهلية ضئيل جدا حيث قدر بحوالي 10.63 ألف طن تمثل نحو 1.24% من جملة إنتاج اللحوم الحمراء بالجمهورية والبالغة حوالي 858 ألف طن، يستهدف البحث بصفة عامة دراسة وتحليل كفاءة استخدام الموارد الزراعية في إنتاج اللحوم الحمراء بمحافظة الدقهلية كهدف رئيسي وذلك من خلال مجموعة من الأهداف الفرعية، وتوصل البحث إلى أن إنتاج اللحوم الحمراء لفئة كبار المربين يتم في مرحلة الإنتاج الاقتصادي التي يتحقق فيها الكفاءة الإنتاجية، بينما إنتاج اللحوم الحمراء لفئة المزارع المتوسطة والصغيرة لا يتم في المرحلة التي يتحقق فيها الكفاءة الإنتاجية وعليه لابد من إعادة استخدام تلك العناصر وتكثيفها للوصول إلى التوليفة المثلى منها والوصول إلى مرحلة الإنتاج الاقتصادي، وتبين أن أهم المشاكل التي تواجه منتجي اللحوم الحمراء تشمل المشاكل الإنتاجية، والمشاكل التمويلية، والمشاكل التسويقية، والمشاكل المتعلقة بالسياسات الزراعية كانت أهم المقترحات للتغلب على هذه المشكلات هي قيام المنتج بشراء الأعلاف في صورة مواد خام ثم يتم تجهيزها وجرشها وتقديمها للحيوان في الصورة النهائية وذلك لضمان جودة الأعلاف، وأن تقوم الدولة بدعم العلف وزيادة الإرشاد والوعي عن طريق الأجهزة المتخصصة، تفعيل القوانين التي تجرم ذبح العجول الصغيرة. خفض سعر الفائدة لتشجيع العمل في مثل هذه المشاريع. وقيام الدولة بالعمل على رقابة المستوردين للسلالات الأجنبية حيث أن المستورد يقوم باستيراد أنواع غير جيدة ويتم توزيعها في بعض الأسواق بغرض زيادة الربح والبعض الآخر منهم يحتفظ بالأصناف الممتازة لنفسه أو يعطيها لغيره بأسعار مرتفعة فتزيد التكاليف على المنتج.
