المستخلص: This paper is part of the new ways imposed by the exponential growth of virtuality considered as a correlate of the health emergency of the Covid 19 pandemic. In this spirit, the aim of the very study is to highlight the representation of university students on communication on social networks with their teachers outside the classroom. To that end, a field survey was conducted using a qualitative approach relying on the semi-directed interview tool with a sample including students from the University of Ouargla. The content of the data collected is analysed in a descriptive perspective way based on some basic perceptions of the students representation of this extra-university interaction, namely: its usefulness, obstacles and as well teachers reactions with regard to this new mode of communication on social networks.

Cette recherche s’inscrit dans le cadre de la nouvelle méthodologie imposée par la croissance exponentielle de la virtualité envisagée comme corrélat de l’urgence sanitaire de la pandémie Covid 19. Dans cette optique, le but de la présente étude consiste à étudier les représentations des étudiants universitaires sur la communication avec leurs enseignants en dehors de la classe sur les réseaux sociaux. À cette fin, une enquête de terrain a été conduite en adoptant une approche qualitative à travers le recours à l’outil de l’entretien semi-dirigé auprès d’un échantillon qui enferme des étudiants de l’université de Ouargla. Le contenu des données récoltées est analysé dans une perspective descriptive qui s’articule autour de quelques perceptions fondatrices de la représentation estudiantine de cette interaction extra-universitaire à savoir: son utilité, ses obstacles et les comportements des enseignants vis-vis ce nouveau mode de communication sur les réseaux sociaux
