المستخلص: The character is one of the most important elements of the story in which the events of the novel revolve. The method of creating and forming characters crystallizes the creative features of the fictional work and shows the extent of success or failure of the fictional narrator in it so that he can be judged as a creator or a pure imitator. From this point of view, this modest paper seeks to show the most important features of Ghassan Kanafani’s narrative creativity by reviewing a number of his novels for narrative analysis, shedding light on the path of development of the characters of the novels, relying on the theory of Edward Morgan Forster, which is based on the fact that every story is almost devoid of either a stable or a developed entity. The fixed ones may also belong to evolution, and some of them do not tend to be similar, so they remain superficial and non developing throughout the story. The researchers relied on the descriptive analysis method, and in analyzing the selected models, they followed the example of Jan Peak in his model for analyzing narrative texts, which is the favorite of most narrative text analysis theorists. And this paper has the most important results: Forster's theory in dividing the characters of the novel into developed and stable, which applies appropriately to the characters of Kanafani's novels. The features of narrative creativity appear clearly defined in Kanafani's merging of the two direct and indirect methods of presenting characters. The characters in a significant number of Kanafani’s novels are the result of the writer’s personal experiences with which he lived in the real world, as they belong to a flat social stratum in the lower class of society, and the writer rarely touches his characters affected by the prevailing conditions and the upper class of his society as he notices Al-shaa Al-Akhar.
