المستخلص: There is no doubt that the technological progress at the present time offers a lot of services to human society, and one of this technological advancement appearances is the use of surveillance cameras, as they use in a numerous places, on the streets, shops, institutions and residential buildings. So it's no longer represent a means of luxury, it has become a persistent need, and there are multiple reasons to use, either for security reasons or to monitor the progress of work and other reasons, but the misuse of this technology may lead to the violation of individuals privacy and their private lives. Therefore, we will discuss this topic in three sections, the first section will deals with the definition of surveillance cameras, while the second section contains the positive and negative aspects of the use of surveillance cameras, the third section contains legislative treatment to regulate the use of surveillance camera.
